I mean can you blame them? Everyone assumed that just because the woman was Asian, she had to be the maid. That's typical western thinking and it's sad. I would've declined too.

Well look at the MOST POPULAR family on return of superman. Park Jooho and his family. His son Aciel(Gunhoo) and daughter Eden(Naeun). He speaks to them in korean, wife anna speaks in german, Anna 's mother(abuela) speaks in spanish, while Jooho's parents speak in korean. By the way Professor Kelly himself is FLUENT IN GERMAN. He should meet the Park siblings and speak to them in german and english.

I met Prof Kelly back in 2017 during a conference when I was working as a postgraduate research assistant.. he is actually really nice in person
He seems like a really nice person. I think it's such a shame some morons ruined what was a very cute thing by all their baseless speculation on the man. I think he seems like a really nice person. He was trying to stay professional in the original interview which is why he didn't turn around and get the kids out himself.

I love how when she spilled milk. Her mum said "get a tissue and clean it". And when the volume was too high, her mum told her to lower it. She said no, and her mum so nicely said "but it's a bit too loud. maybe just a little bit?" its so sweet they negotiate like that. it's so loving and the way the children respond in polite korean form you can see its the norm in their home :))) also what a gorgeous couple hahah :P no wonder the kids are so cute!

They're the cutest. I commented here a yr ago & I still adore those kids. So yt feed brought me back here. Looking through some of the comments all like," he seems so unhappy." It's like 🤔,"well, he has some passion for political science too, so there's that." Other than that, his face does seem to light up when playing w/ his kids.

I'm so glad they've gotten this opportunity to appear, considering the accusations of abuse that they got after the video. It must have been so hard on them especially since he obviously loves them so much. Reminds me of Phil DeFranco with Trey.
there was an interview with the BBC on relations between North and South Korea, during the interview (where Robert was sat in the bedroom shown in the video) Yena marched in, because she assumed he was talking to their grandparents, closely followed by Yoseup. Robert pushed Yena away because he had just been asked a question about whether or not relations between North and South Korea could improve. The mother (I'm sorry I didn't quite catch her name) then came in and bustled them out. This was all live and the clip was shared and became viral. These parents (after the mother had actually been called the mother, as racists can't perceive the possibility of mixed race families) received a lot of criticism, people claiming they were neglectful because of Robert's 'cold' attitude and how they thought their mother was too 'rough' with them. I saw so many people commenting on how they thought they abused them and said how Robert would 'smack' his wife afterwards etc.

The daughter, Yena, is actually very intelligent. She is very good with numbers. When the mother mentioned that Yuseop, the little brother, is 4.75kg and Sam repeated "4.7kg..?", Yena immediately added "5". She also remembers that her brother is 13kg and 2 years old in Korean age. She is hyperactive but very intelligent.

I wouldn't call her 'hyperactive', just "e cubed' - excited, enthusiastic and energetic.🌋 Who wouldn't be? All these cool strangers, cameras and "stuff" with loads of attention on her and her little brother. Speaking from experience 🤣 - my father was interviewed in 1970 and I was her age. I remember to this day how super exciting everything was, cables, cameras and ..... a dress picked out just for this day which I (of course!) also pulled over my head. 🤦♀️🙊🤣. She was a BIG DEAL and knew it. 🤩🥳👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❣‼. I wonder how the dynamic duo is doing now. I will never her dramatic entrance!
She is highly intelligent and sometimes that can show up as being hyper. The mini trampoline is great, I wish I would have gotten one for my kids as a positive energy release.
I hope they are gonna bring Yena back in the show.. after 5 years am wondering how is she now😍

I hope he is teaching them English. My parents are two different races as well so I should know English and French but my dad thought I wouldn’t need to learn French. Literally pisses me off to this day. It would help me out with getting a job and traveling so much!

Yuseop is a bruiser! It would be interesting to see how he grows up. I was my mum's biggest baby (I'm female) and my sister outgrew me at age 13 and I've since been the shortest family member always on the slim side. It might be different with boys though
