My favourite thing about Ollie is that he'll say/do absolutely ridiculous things that make you belly laugh, then turn around and say something truly profound that makes you think. The connotation of the Korean in that context, I think he was speaking from experience that he now chooses to see the bright side (implying that in the past, he hasn't and understands how bad it can be if you look at the negative all the time). you know why i love ollie so much? he's always just being himself and always brings such joy to the group. i would be scared to be a part of this interview since i don't speak korean and i would feel so left out. but ollie is so confident, and of course josh is so wonderful and i love how they always include each other in everything. the fact that ollie cant speak korean well didnt mean anything at all. it was an enjoyable experience for everyone. i love Jolly so much.

When Ollie said "maybe that's the firework in you" i felt touched too, man he's entertaining and thoughtful and he also asks really good questions that these stars don't get asked a lot (or at all) and makes the guests feel seen by making jokes that imply his knowledge about the person (like when he mentioned minho's song by saying the wrong word) it shows he did his research but in a casual "this is basic knowledge". Overall he's a great interviewer and his korean has got a loooot better and his pronunciation feels more natural.
This is why I love Josh and Ollie. Especially Ollie whom with his humour, can make any actor, singer on any other kind of celebrity laugh like they're about to pee their pants. I think his genuine friendliness and funny personality makes everyone relaxed and can show their own self with ease :-) he's not afraid of making mistakes so maybe that's also a part of his charm that makes people have fun with them. :-)
Just wanted to let Josh and Ollie know that this interview was one of their best with a Kpop celebrity. They got Minho to open up about himself and I feel we got to know him more as a person as opposed to a celebrity. Kudos to the both of you doing a spectacular job!
As someone who grew up with 2nd generation kpop, Shinee to me is always that youngest brothers I adore. Seeing Minho in my favorite RUclips channel is next level. Also you’re getting closer to 2nd generation and I love it. These guys share really good stories and I somehow feel closer to them when they’re on your channel
You know that feeling where these celebrities ere complete strangers to you but sometimes you get "vibes" from them, whether good or bad. Minho oozes nothing but kind vibes. It's very genuine vibes. He's definitely the cute kind little brother.
I know what you mean. Although I'm a lot younger than 2nd generation idols, I feel a stronger bond with them than recent idols. I discovered them during my teens, and I can say that they were really good role models to me. I learned a lot from them in terms of manners, work ethics and friendship/family values that I still carry to this day and it's amazing that they have been consistent (especially SHINee) that you can totally see that none of those actions were fake and they really are good people.
Minho is one of my most favorite Korean entertainers. Great looking, talented, charismatic, energetic and playful. I would love to be one of his friends, because he makes me smile and he can really lift my spirits just by watching him.
Ollie really does have such a gift to connect with people despite a language barrier. I really envy his courage to put himself out there and make himself vulnerable to make others comfortable and forge really meaningful moments of connection and insight.

And this one with one of my faves in KPOP is just a pleasure to watch and see him. Minho is always the positive and humble one. I hope they continue to make these interviews with kpop stars. i’ve fallen out of love with k-pop in the recent years and this just brought me back to my memories of fangirling over SHINee, buying merch, waiting for albums to drop, etc. minho was always such a light, his casualness yet wiseness makes him such an interesting person and i’m happy to see he’s still going strong and doing what he loves :) i know this a pet peeve for most shawols, but the way he mentions jonghyun so casually makes me realise how far he’s come and how much he’s grown. i’m rooting for you minho!

Love inclusion of lots of Ollie’s Korean. That is how learning happens, and he’s not just going for Korean, he’s definitely also thinking about timing, amount of tries (given professional setting + guest) and humour factors - something other language learners don’t have to worry about.
Love whenever Ollie joins the interview/conversation. The language “barrier” is not even existent. He instead turns it into an opportunity to make the guests laugh. Plus his questions are really out of the box and interesting, too. Seems like Minho really had fun when they filmed this.

You know it's a success when not only do they make Minho move his body when laughing but when you let out the Dolphin laugh in him. I've seen this video multiple times and you don't even have to be a Shawol to appreciate how funny the three of them are. The chemistry in this video is really good. I didn't know Minho before this interview, but he is a fantastic guest! His positivity really is his talent. More collabs, please! I feel like I'm going to cry, SHINee's song ring ding dong introduced me to the world of kpop over a decade ago, and Josh and ollie both introduced me to so much Korean culture. Seeing you guys together in a video is so awesome. You've definitely made my day.
I am so used to Korean variety shows that this is the first time I've realised Minho is now 32!! He has grown and up and matured. Ollie is a scream. The chewy comments made me laugh so much and when Minho got it? That reaction was just too much. Ollie is a gem. The " wow " after loosening up was much better but the whole process was hysterical to watch.

I laughed so, so many times. Amazed at how Minho responded to Ollie's English, too. The edits are on-point. Great collab and great choice of a guest. I know this was timed for Minho's promotion, too, but it's just great fun to watch him relaxed. The answers to the questions as well on starting early as an idol and his strategies in acting were very solid. He definitely has matured gracefully. :) I hope someone somehow gets to tell him this!
It seems like both Minho and Ollie understand each others' language but find it challenging to speak it, so when they just speak in their respective native tongues they can still understand each other! It's very impressive tbh.

it's moments like these when you realise your favourite dorks on internet are actually famous lol. I love Minho and his passion for everything that he does. He deliberately chose to go to Navy because he didn't want an easy way out. Truly an inspirational fellow.
More specifically, he joined the Marines. Not only is it the toughest branch, he extended his enlistment so he could take part in a special exercise and help train his juniors. His passion and fortitude is on another level.
This was such a fun interview. As someone who watches a lot of interview type content, this channel always manages to make them refreshing and interesting. And Minho is such a gem! The fun chemistry between you three was hilarious (everytime Ollie said wow I found myself doubling over). Hope to see him again, or any of the other SHINee members, on the channel in the future!

Overall he's a great interviewer and his korean has got a loooot better and his pronunciation feels more natural.
This is why I love Josh and Ollie. Especially Ollie whom with his humour, can make any actor, singer on any other kind of celebrity laugh like they're about to pee their pants. I think his genuine friendliness and funny personality makes everyone relaxed and can show their own self with ease :-) he's not afraid of making mistakes so maybe that's also a part of his charm that makes people have fun with them. :-)

Just wanted to let Josh and Ollie know that this interview was one of their best with a Kpop celebrity. They got Minho to open up about himself and I feel we got to know him more as a person as opposed to a celebrity. Kudos to the both of you doing a spectacular job!

As someone who grew up with 2nd generation kpop, Shinee to me is always that youngest brothers I adore. Seeing Minho in my favorite RUclips channel is next level. Also you’re getting closer to 2nd generation and I love it. These guys share really good stories and I somehow feel closer to them when they’re on your channel
You know that feeling where these celebrities ere complete strangers to you but sometimes you get "vibes" from them, whether good or bad. Minho oozes nothing but kind vibes. It's very genuine vibes. He's definitely the cute kind little brother.

I know what you mean. Although I'm a lot younger than 2nd generation idols, I feel a stronger bond with them than recent idols. I discovered them during my teens, and I can say that they were really good role models to me. I learned a lot from them in terms of manners, work ethics and friendship/family values that I still carry to this day and it's amazing that they have been consistent (especially SHINee) that you can totally see that none of those actions were fake and they really are good people.
Minho is one of my most favorite Korean entertainers. Great looking, talented, charismatic, energetic and playful. I would love to be one of his friends, because he makes me smile and he can really lift my spirits just by watching him.

Josh and Ollie have never made a bad or bland interview. Their content are always, funny, sweet, humble, chaotic, informative, heart felt and just a blast to watch.
And this one with one of my faves in KPOP is just a pleasure to watch and see him.

i’ve fallen out of love with k-pop in the recent years and this just brought me back to my memories of fangirling over SHINee, buying merch, waiting for albums to drop, etc. minho was always such a light, his casualness yet wiseness makes him such an interesting person and i’m happy to see he’s still going strong and doing what he loves :) i know this a pet peeve for most shawols, but the way he mentions jonghyun so casually makes me realise how far he’s come and how much he’s grown. i’m rooting for you minho!
I believe he said somewhere he doesn't want Jonghyun to be forgotten, and all of SHINee thinks of SHINee as a 5 member group still.

I've never heard of or seen Minho before, but he comes across as a very positive, down-to-earth artist. What an impressive list of accomplishments he has had in his life so far! And he looked like he was having a fantastic time with Ollie and Josh!

Love inclusion of lots of Ollie’s Korean. That is how learning happens, and he’s not just going for Korean, he’s definitely also thinking about timing, amount of tries (given professional setting + guest) and humour factors - something other language learners don’t have to worry about.

Love whenever Ollie joins the interview/conversation. The language “barrier” is not even existent. He instead turns it into an opportunity to make the guests laugh. Plus his questions are really out of the box and interesting, too. Seems like Minho really had fun when they filmed this.

When shinee released their 2021 album they said that SM let them decide how they wanted to promote and they chose to guest on lots of popular RUclips channels so I assume Minho is using the same strategy to promote his album + drama

You know it's a success when not only do they make Minho move his body when laughing but when you let out the Dolphin laugh in him. I've seen this video multiple times and you don't even have to be a Shawol to appreciate how funny the three of them are. The chemistry in this video is really good. Minho is such a treat and Ollie's lines were such a hit to Minho. I hope they get to interview other members in the future.

I feel like I'm going to cry, SHINee's song ring ding dong introduced me to the world of kpop over a decade ago, and Josh and ollie both introduced me to so much Korean culture. Seeing you guys together in a video is so awesome. You've definitely made my day.
I am so used to Korean variety shows that this is the first time I've realised Minho is now 32!! He has grown and up and matured.
Ollie is a scream. The chewy comments made me laugh so much and when Minho got it? That reaction was just too much.

I laughed so, so many times. Amazed at how Minho responded to Ollie's English, too. The edits are on-point. Great collab and great choice of a guest. I know this was timed for Minho's promotion, too, but it's just great fun to watch him relaxed. The answers to the questions as well on starting early as an idol and his strategies in acting were very solid. He definitely has matured gracefully. :) I hope someone somehow gets to tell him this!
It seems like both Minho and Ollie understand each others' language but find it challenging to speak it, so when they just speak in their respective native tongues they can still understand each other! It's very impressive tbh.
Minho does understand English, its just that as a human if its not our natural language, we seem hesitant to speak in a language we are not familiar with.

it's moments like these when you realise your favourite dorks on internet are actually famous lol. I love Minho and his passion for everything that he does. He deliberately chose to go to Navy because he didn't want an easy way out. Truly an inspirational fellow.
More specifically, he joined the Marines. Not only is it the toughest branch, he extended his enlistment so he could take part in a special exercise and help train his juniors. His passion and fortitude is on another level.

This was such a fun interview. As someone who watches a lot of interview type content, this channel always manages to make them refreshing and interesting. And Minho is such a gem! The fun chemistry between you three was hilarious (everytime Ollie said wow I found myself doubling over). Hope to see him again, or any of the other SHINee members, on the channel in the future!
I love how Josh and Ollie always does their homework about the people they are interviewing and ask meaningful questions. It's really thoughtful and you can tell all the interviewees are always so comfortable around them.
