  • Ranked among top 100 Yakitori in Japan by customers. In the heart of Kabukicho Shinjuku you will find Michishirube, a unique Yakitori Izakaya that regulars will describe as cozy, wild, and memorable. A must stop Yakitori shop for me every time I'm in Japan.

    There is just something magical about yakitori. It brings people together, its fun, it just has so much going on. Seeing that restuarant just looks amazing.

    Absolutely love the energy resonating from this izakaya!! It's amazing Yoichi-san and Akio-san can run the whole operation by themselves, yet still have so much energy. Thanks for sharing a special place that encapsulates what makes izakayas so unique ❤

    Hey Yakitori Guy, I watched all your cooking videos, tried a few times now with limited success. If you ever get back to doing more cooking videos, maybe some for beginners? Maybe how to host a dinner party, for a novice?

    Hey, big fan of your videos . And I am inspired with the method of cooking chicken. I have been practicing home, trying different cuts. One question: the bamboo skew I use normally burns during grill. So i want to ask are there any secrets to the skews used by those professional chefs? Or is it just due to the quality of the skews?

    • @monkofthefuture1484
      @monkofthefuture1484 Год назад

      Not sure if this is what Yakiguy will recommend, but it's good practice to keep your sticks soaking in water before putting together your skewers. This keeps them from burning quite as much.

    • @Yakitoriguy

      This place is definitely tourist friendly. Every time I visit, theres always few people from other countries who reserved either through Japanese friends, concierge, or messaging the shop. Many of these popular places are reservation recommended as they fill up quickly.
