I own one. He got it all wrong with the seats, used the wrong lever. But yeah, the satnav is crap. But I enjoy every single day in it. And my mates and kids love it...
Why do you say it is not reliable? I own 2 of them and they haven't given me any real trouble at all. People who have never owned one often claim this without any real world experience or data to back them up. Also, it is quicker than my 1988.5 Lamborghini Countach 5000QV so it isn't exactly slow. It is a Grand Touring car so I don't expect it to be Ferrari F8 fast, I don't agree with many of your comments. Yes the infotainment system is archaic but as an Italian exotic, I don't expect Honda Civic-esq infotainment. The CAR is your entertainment, you don't need piped in engine performance (ahem BMW M6, M3, M4, etc...) or music, you have quite possibly the best sounding stock engine/exhaust ever sold. Also, the rear seats fit a 6' tall adult comfortably, so this is a real 4 seat car unlike a Porsche 911 and the Aston DB9. Only a Bentley convertible offers similar space and room and it is not in the same catagory. The Pinifarina design is timeless and stunning, rivals the Jaguar E-type for best looking coupé ever produced. Also, Maserati has more history than Ferrari or Lamborghini as it was founded in 1914. It has a great tradition of motor racing and even won the Indy 500 back to back in 1939/1940 as well as the 1957 F1 Championship. And as any racer will tell you, you can't win championships if you don't finish the race, so reliability has to be there.
Thank you for your excellent comment. I fully agree with you. Maseratis have the absolute best sounding engines / exhausts of them all which is your real entertainment.
I love all of these reviewers who claim Maserati's aren't reliable, but have absolutely zero first hand ownership experience with them. & yes, I say this as an owner who has had ZERO issues with its reliability.
Thank you! I've owned 4 Maseratis and they've all been pretty bullet proof. Unless someone has owned the cars, I take their opinions regarding reliability with a grain of salt. Again, Maseratis have won almost every race in the history of racing... you don't win if you don't finish... unreliable cars die on racetracks.
but I want to know what data he has to say it is not reliable other than his perception. I've owned 4 Maseratis and they have all been bullet proof. You don't win races without finishing. I call Bullshit with no data.
I didn’t understand what he means about the throttle/leg rest thing…is he driving with both feet? Or why does he think thats annoying? Isn’t that how most cars are?
Great review and I do agree. I would consider an M6 Convertible over one and you can make it look almost as exotic if you opt for San Marino Blue paint and Ivory White leather.
I can‘t really understand that seat problem, I‘m 5‘11 and I‘ve never been in a car, where I haven‘t put the seat in the lowest possible setting. Feels so much nicer!
The infotainment is the mid range version offered on a Citroen C5 of the same period and easily upgraded The seats are very comfortable (he’s using the wrong buttons to adjust it 🤦🏻♂️) And the skyhook suspension isn’t to everyone’s taste, it’s super comfortable or sporty with GT driving in mind
I like your content man, it's edited really nicely and you show a lot more personality than guys like SaabKyle. I find it hard to take reviewers like him seriously just because he's so nerdy and clinical. You actually have personality. You're really stuttery and nervous but i'm sure as you whip up a few more videos that'll definitely fade. +1 subscriber here.
If Maserati would have continued the interior of the 4200 on to the G.T. ? How could they put that legendary clock set in plastic and switch centre console from chrisler . If Ferrari only would have demanded this when chrisler became involved. Never mind, the 4.200 is still available but hard to find a one owner post 2004. But if you do find one, you will have a car that is much smaller ,more Maserati and sounds like the GT. O yes, the clock on the 4200 is set in leather, everything is premium leather along with Ferrari 430 engine and dry sump.
Beautiful car, but I would not want one. Just not my style personally. One thing that always cracks me up about the people who are so passionate about "its the sound, style, etc, not the electronics...." My questions is, why can't a car have both? Putting a decent infotainment system in a car, and making the radio and environmental controls, is not the most difficult thing anymore. Maserati makes one the most beautiful cars....they did the hard part...but can't get the easier things right....a car can evoke passion and have beauty while having a decent infotainment package at the same time.
Italians are amazing, but can this maserati interior quality be compared to like a Ferrari, and if so, can this interior of the maserati surpass a Mercedes? Yes, I know Mercedes is German.
Yabby Gideon bruuh maserati is pretty much made by ferrar the difference is a maserati is made for style, design, comfort while a ferrari is made to be a top performer in pretty much every category
I disagree his comments about reliability, they are completely not data driven. My BMWs had ore issues than my Maseratis. He has no data to back that up. Thanks butt head for spreading untruths about my cars. Maseratis won races by finishing! No other Italian brand won the Indy500 not once but twice! By finishing! No Ferrari nor Lamborghini!
The whole car is definitely out dated as a whole just my opinion it needs to go back to the drawing board redesign. It looks like it came from the early 2000's
I own one. He got it all wrong with the seats, used the wrong lever. But yeah, the satnav is crap. But I enjoy every single day in it. And my mates and kids love it...
Did your parents buy it for you?
You are doing it wrong.
This car is all about sound, name, beauty, and personality, not technology and comfort.
Karbin Darwesh Hi. But for that price....?? They could of been a bit more up to date with interior
Nor performance.
Karbin Darwesh then why would the quattroporte and Ghibli have much better technology?
Why do you say it is not reliable? I own 2 of them and they haven't given me any real trouble at all. Great start Noah! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the series!
That felt like the most honest review of the Gran Turismo I’ve ever heard
but I want to know what data he has to say it is not reliable other than his perception. I've owned 4 Maseratis and they have all been bullet proof. You don't win races without finishing. I call Bullshit with no data.
anyone can tell what is the colour of this car ? any special colour code?
i want to re-paint my quattroporte into this colour.
tqvm.
I didn’t understand what he means about the throttle/leg rest thing…is he driving with both feet? Or why does he think thats annoying? Isn’t that how most cars are?

pat mourassa Let me guess, your stupid ass didn't bother to read and assumed "Convertible" was "Corvette"?
BMW M6, you fucking idiot.pat mourassa
The M6 is absolutely NOT more reliable. The M6 is horrendous to maintain.
I can‘t really understand that seat problem, I‘m 5‘11 and I‘ve never been in a car, where I haven‘t put the seat in the lowest possible setting. Feels so much nicer!
Which song is playing in the background... Nice review

Ignore the rude people on here, for they are insecure and projecting. Keep it up. Keep telling stories, pal.
