reacts to the concerts in Colombia and Peru, they were great for history, the one in Peru that same day there was a coup and even so they went to the show
Great! These are my favorites of the first album, together with Exterminated, Unmendable and the title track! Love these rebellish punk vibes! So much talent! 👍⚡️🤘
These early songs you could stand next to any of the indie bands of the early-mid 90s and people would have gone nuts. They could have opened for bands like Throwing Muses and Belly that we all loved and would have blown them off the stage. No exaggeration.
As a more recent fan of this band, I didn't get the privilege to know and hear these songs when they were newer. I couldn't believe how good they all were when I got to them! Wildfire in particular is just so good! And the riff in Runaway! It baffles me how they can be so consistent at making good song after good song. If their past is this good, it gets me really excited for the future. Error proved that in spades!
It does seem that their deal with Lava will work out to benefit all. The Warning receive the support of a label and all that entails. The label has band that is exponentially gaining popularity. We fans get the raw energy showcased here, guided by high level production teams and the continuing evolution of Dany, Pau and Ale's songwriting- lyrically, structurally and musically.
@@p.gabrielguirao14 Estuvo de acuerdo mi amigo. Las canciones de Escape the Mind también son excelentes composiciones, a pesar de que Dany era apenas un adolescente en ese momento.
@@steveherman6909 The Lava deal took seven months to hammer out because TW team refused to relent on two issues, 1 - The girls demanded full creative control of their music 2 - Although the label insisted on them scraping their Patreon site, the girls wouldn’t back down. They still have it and I’ve been a member for three years now.
When I first began listening to The Warning, a little more than 5 years ago, "Runaway" was the very first song that I always had to hit the "repeat" button with, and marathon. That rhythmic hook is just so addictive. Thanks, for reacting to some of the classics. Three amazing songs offered by three stunning musicians!!!
Even with all the new stuff, the Dakota Bar show remains a fan favorite. They were so polished on stage at such a young age you just knew they were destined to become a next level band. Cheezy, you gotta do Copper Bullets from this concert. It’s the song their parents tried to talk them out of releasing because it’s about domestic abuse/murder/ suicide.
I always jokingly say you can tell how old a video is by Ale's height compared to her bass. I started listening to them a few months ago after I heard the Enter Sandman cover they did with Alessia Cara, and I'm always happy to hear new music (new to me at least) from The Warning.
Idk what Pau does with the drum line in Wildfire but whatever it is, I love it, it's got a unique sound to it. That switch up in the feel of Runaway during the bridge into halftime is fantastic too. I listen to the XXI Century Blood album along with the rest of their catalog every week and I continue to be in awe of how they never make a mediocre song.
Wildfire, another showcase for Dany's ability to close out a song on an extended vocal. Runaway, another showcase for Pau to close out a song with some epic drumming. Two of my many favorites on this album.
They had an acoustic session in canada not too long ago definitively worth checking out too. I'm convinced I need a whole acoustic album from them. 🤟🏽🤟🏽
Three great The Warning songs. Wildfire is absolutely way too underrated as a great rock song. Ale's bass line is just killer. Pau's drum line is genius. Slipping in to that military cadence? I knew much older guys who couldn't handle that let alone actually WRITE that line. Runaway? The breaks in this song and the switch ups...and the harmonies in each of these songs...just incredible. Tempo changes. Breaks. Great live performances of each of these songs. You can see why they worked so hard to capture that magic they get in live performances to transcend to their studio recordings. They're just FIRE. Great reaction!
Our Mistakes/Wildfire and Runaway: What a great trio of excellent musicians, their songs are always rock with strength and power, The Warning came to change the history of rock, music geniuses are like TW, they are not afraid to create a masterpiece with the simplest and most elementary, without unnecessary decorations, they do what needs to be done
I suggest a really early song with Pau on the piano at their school. It's the title track to Escape the Mind. Even back then... ruclips.net/video/wtRLmnQ9-Cc/видео.html
Wildfire get s a lot of attention because The Hunger Games was the inspiration. However, I love Our Mistakes and Runaway is one of my favorites. I love the harmonies and Dany's Galloping guitar riff. It just has such a great groove. Even at this young age they didn't know how to write a bad song.
Runaway is in my Top 3 favorite songs off of XXI Century Blood! Ale's back up vocals are very prominent in this song and that for me is what makes it special for me. Unfortunately Wild fire is my least favorite song on the album, not sure why but it is. The Whole album in general is great though!
They are fantastic songwriters and performers from such a young age. So great to be on this journey with them as they now are on their way to being household names. Thanks for the reaction, Cheezy.
The line “safe haven isn’t safe at all” is definitely the keystone of Runaway. I love Runaway. Yes, great minds think alike, “that was awesome” came right on cue after you said it, lol. Great reaction! Love your reactions to the older stuff lately
All the videos available from this show at Dakota Bar are nicely shot, but even more so have excellent sound quality. Working these in to your schedule until you've covered them all (some already reacted to) would be welcome by TWA, and hopefully some of the Maidiacs and Wolfpack who are intrigued by The Warning. Please also keep your Band Maid and Lovebites journeys moving forward as I have learned a lot more about them by fellow subs and commentors beyond my previous casual enjoyment of both.
@@Cheezyxyz Some are also waiting on another delve into Bloodywood, as I have seen others mention "Dana Dan" and "Jee Veery". I know you also enjoyed "Aaj" and "Gaddar". Also congratz on hitting 2k subs! I noticed when I clicked in to see this reaction and at the time of this comment you have posted your new Lovebites reaction (going there momentarily), I am seeing 2.01k 😎
Yes, indeed more Bloodywood. I wanted to make sure to keep the Patreon requests coming in while diving deeper into all these new bands you all have shared with me 🤘😎 I know some wanted more Sum41 and Ledger also 🧀
@@Cheezyxyz Bloodwood seem very reasonable with wanting to get exposure, so I imagine their copyright whitelisting shouldn't be too difficult to obtain. Sum41 has a lot of material and have been around the block enough for them to be considered "classic" to their catalogue and sound. So far I have restrained from searching out Ledger until you post more of their material, but I had heard some Skillet tracks previously and it's cool to see when individual band members either have a side project ongoing, or even make a guest appearance with another artist.
Runaway for me is one of those hidden gems.not my favorite, but constantly on the playlist. If you wanna see Alé go ham, check out their cover of Hysteria by Muse from the Liceo concert. Then Alé's solo cover of it in the cave. Muse liked it so much they posted it to their official Facebook page
I recently purchased a new 2nd hand car that also came with a great sound system. I played Wildfire on repeat for 3 weeks straight every time I drove. Then I had to go on a 300km trip and I played the entire XXI Century Blood album on repeat the entire journey up and then all 3 albums XXICB, QOTMS, and Error on the way back. I love Wildfire, Dany's end belt is great, but am now listening to Runaway a lot in between the other albums. All the songs on that album just like all their others are so listenable repeatedly.
Runaway and Wild Fire are from their Studio EP "Escape The Mind". "Our Mistakes" is from (21st Century Blood ". The first Lava records album. So they have three more albums for Lava.
This is a great concert! Early TW really coming into their own, live. Wild Fire is 1 of my early favs by them. Pau has a real John Bonham approach to this song, IMO.
Also there was a time that Ale said she would rather have a root Canal then sign. Here is them tricking her to sing. ruclips.net/video/t5eTWPJjo2I/видео.html&start_radio=1
You should watch Video Diary of them going to Berklee Music College in Boston. Ellen gave them 30,000 to go... at the end is a very big surprise when they went to Harmonix's Studio. ruclips.net/video/3eV1VGel4lE/видео.html
Three very good songs. 🤘🏻
All hail the Butterfly!🤘🏿
I really hope Dany still has that shirt. It should be in the Hall of Fame!😁
Another good one is copper bullets. Its very dark and they had to fight to get on the album.

Do a lifestream of the Lima, Peru concert. By far one of the best ever concerts yet!

I just can't believe how awesome they have always been. Good God the talent!
Runaway is easily up there as one of my favourite songs of theirs, it just has everything I expect from them. Love it :)
Agree with all the Copper Bullets comments. Watch out for Pau's flying stick at the end. It just misses Dany's head.
