Yay for small plates. I got a new plate carrier recently and it's to small for any mock plates I could find lengthwise. This video was perfectly timed, I was about to order a set of medium plates to cut down.
Hooray! Another product that means players won't feel hits and inevitably piss someone off. Every time I go airsofting there is that one dude who is tooled up with so much gear, they wouldn't feel a hammer hit them.
Use a "Can Opener" on him...Got shot with a P99 DAO CO2 with power upgrade....... 650 fps at 2 meters felt like a mule kick :))..... THAT will make you call your hits....
Tin can opener......or for airsoft, a high powered gun, that will make him feel the hits :P......I've been unintentionally hit, friendly fire or just bad luck with DMR or some sort at 6 feet :)), with BB even shattering on my helmet :)......and that will make you call your hit, no matter how well armored you might be. Those are can openers, especially the P99 witch is a bloody pistol witch can go to 650+ fps....
Yes, it will protect you from the enormous penetration capabilities of the 6mm bb. But truthfully apart from realism there is no use for plate other than plastic or foam. Keep in mind that a rigid plate could cause you to not feel a hit!
I have a question (of course I will)for u.what brand do u prefer.I have a black ops m4 but I dont see much people use that brand(black ops) at all. Thanks for reading and keep up the good vids.
I recently installed a polarstar Jack into my gun, but it constantly shoots slightly to the left. Also, it shoots two bbs at once about every 10 shots on semi. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix these issues?
i had this happen to my M249 when i installed my inferno. You want to check the hopup rubber, hopup unit, nozzle, dwell and barrel. reasons: HOPUP UNIT: For my M249, i had to replace the unit because the feed hole was a little too big, allowing 2 BBs in at once, causing the double feed. HOPUP RUBBER: if the lips on it are not tight enough, it can also cause double feeding by letting a BB roll down the barrel and get stopped by the nub, sometimes 2, since most HPA engines run from an "open bolt" per se, as opposed to AEGs that run "closed bolt" (the difference: closed bolt, when not firing, the nozzle rests against the hopup, blocking BBs from entering the chamber, whilst open bolt, rests with the feed hole open, basically the same as a real firearm, in a sense) for Polarstars/wolverines, myself, and generally everybody would recommend the G&G green cold temp bucking, or the Madbull Red shark 60 degree buckings, since they prevent double feeds really well. NOZZLE: you want to make sure the nozzle is the length for say an M4, or a SR25 specifically, if not and may be too short, you wont get a good air seal, if its too long, it will jam the BB in the barrel, try to load a second and it will push both out by double feed. BARREL: make sure it is A: clean, B: not bent, and C: correctly installed, making sure it is not twisted by seeing if the hop up rubber comes down from the top, and not off to one side. DWELL: if the Dwell is set too low, it wont supply air long enough to push it down the barrel, and might cause it to "stall" and stay in the barrel, if its too high (you will know, a Dwell that is set too high will make the gun sound like instead of a short "pop" it will sound like a crude piece of paper or foil being ripped) you want that crisp pop sound. Hope this helps.
+! ObamaTookMyCat ! Thanks for the help! But, all I had to do was take the system apart and put back one of the O-rings that fell loose and lube it up because it was too dry to let the nozzle fully retract.
Plate carriers allow you to carry magazines on your body, or any other pouches. In airsoft they don't protect you. These plates that he's showing give the carrier some rigidity so your magazines don't flop around.
i use a cheap zip up vest type it has M4 mag and pistol mag pouchs a chest type holster also has mollie on the back an a swat velcro patch on the back its not bad for 20 bucks

They are for simulation/impression purposes. Used for protection and utility carrier for both magazines and gear. Some like to use real plates in the carriers for simulation, and a real workout whilst playing.
Hey guys, anyone know how this fits versus the LBX nimbus foam structure in an LBX 0300s? I think the lbx plates will fit better because LBX with LBX, why not, right? But then there's these from PTS that seem a little more popular and a little more flexible in my opinion. Any input would be nice! Thanks ahead of time!
ok look before any of you "I was in the army before" or " be a real man and shoot real guns" people come to the comments and hate, airsoft is a sport and hobby where you get to shoot other people without getting arrested or killed so please if you have any hate comments send them here
Well, I don't really use stock guns, because i love teching. If I get a gun, I'll have it gutted and the parts replaced before you can sneeze. So, in my case, the best gun is the one with the externals I like :)
Palkom Productions Yeah that's pretty much my theory. I don't do internal work yet because of my lack of moneyz, but I don't go looking for a gun that has the best internals. I look for a gun that I love the looks of, and that I can upgrade later... etc...
Hey, I recently bought a 1911 Tac Elite Force CO2 pistol and I've turned the hopup as low as it can go but for some reason my BBs are still going up to the point where the gun is useless. Is there something that I may have done to cause this or is the gun simply broken? I'd appreciate a response. Btw I'm using .20 BBs Thanks!
I just started airsoft, I've got all the gear and accessories. Is there anything anyone can recommend that I get extra or keep in mind? Thanks everyone

Hey john. Can you do a review on the G&G CM18 mod 1? Love the show and keep up the great work. Hope to see you at an event sometime.
Duct tape and cardboard FTW! xD
yas #GhettoPlateSkwaaad
totally, you just wrote my comment for me
Well. I'm a big guy (6'6 and 150 pounds) and I normally run medium or a large, and I invested in actual Level III armor.
I may regret that.
fight threw the pain it's worth it after a while you wont even feel them any more
I just got the plastic hollow ones, plan on filling them with water and freezing them before I play... It can get hot in all that gear.
eli dennison good idea, I might need to borrow that.....
Won't it just turn to water after a few hours? Use sand or plaster.
Seth Kazzim the point is for it to be cold.......
ThePotatoJuicer to cool you down?
Seth Kazzim yes?
I have made my own plates and I love them!! Mine has some weight on them but not so much that it is a burden!!
This looks like a great product! Thanks for the video!
How can I find out what size plates my plate carrier takes if I don't remember its size from when I bought it and there is no tag that says either?
Hooray! Another product that means players won't feel hits and inevitably piss someone off. Every time I go airsofting there is that one dude who is tooled up with so much gear, they wouldn't feel a hammer hit them.
lol that sucks, try a more painful sidearm and keep your own primary

+Krom1hell never heard of a "can opener"

Switch to magfed paintball then.
Can you do a review on the AWS OCPC please
Again, can you tell us what helmet you run?? Maybe even a loadout video. Thx in advance.
He has a few Loadout videos from his milsim video series. I know he put one up from his Copperhead series
It's a Team Wendy LTP I believe
He also runs a Dragon red Airframe replica
Will these work on an avengers jpc plate carrier
all the links you left are out of stock. cool.
I know this is a stupid question: Would a real steel ceramic plate be useful in airsoft?
Yes, it will protect you from the enormous penetration capabilities of the 6mm bb. But truthfully apart from realism there is no use for plate other than plastic or foam. Keep in mind that a rigid plate could cause you to not feel a hit!
Yes, I've done a game with it and it was so tiring... It's great for exercise though
they need to come with the side plates as well.
where can i find those 5lb training plates i have the light weight sapi plates but want more weight
I have a question (of course I will)for u.what brand do u prefer.I have a black ops m4 but I dont see much people use that brand(black ops) at all. Thanks for reading and keep up the good vids.
Nice vid bro

Does anyone know any dummy or training plates that are the large or extra large plates

I am just saving up to start air soft. I know I need a gun, ammo, eye, and face protection, but should I get anything else? What gun should I get.
What should my budget be??
What is your favorite gun?
Well, I don't really use stock guns, because i love teching. If I get a gun, I'll have it gutted and the parts replaced before you can sneeze. So, in my case, the best gun is the one with the externals I like :)

Anyone know any good thin plates?
Love mine
Will a SR25 mag fit in a SCAR-H
Negative ghost rider.

Run heavy bbs, trust me. That'll fix it.
With any gas blow back you need to be running heavy bbs.
What weight would you recommend?
I just started airsoft, I've got all the gear and accessories. Is there anything anyone can recommend that I get extra or keep in mind? Thanks everyone
can you feel hits with these?
WHAT ONLY 5 POUNDS??? IF YOUR PLAYING MILSIM WHY NOT ADD THE REALISTIC 7-10 LB PLATE!!!!!!!!!
Street S W A T Because dying is not tge point
Hamza Moussaid it’s milsim so that’s the point
real plates are 4.5-5 pounds per plate
yoo jonathon, would it be possible to help co-host an episode one day ?
I use EMG plates
how are the EMG ones?
The ones on airsoft gi look nothing like the ones in the video
Darn u beat me to my question😑.
It was what do you thing of real armor in airsoft
Yup, rocking training plates and never going back. It adds a unique challenge to the game and makes everything feel far more realistic.
I honestly was just gonna cut some steel scrap to the right dimensions and slip them in Lol.
just saying pts didn't make the first one if these
Ballistic nylon!!?!
I laugh at your sponge plates.
I put 2 cement bricks in my carrier just like a real slav.
Nice to know I’m not the only one that does this
used to run real plates just for shits and giggles. it's a good anaerobic exercise.
Very true, but if I'm at a 40 hour game, I'd rather not be dead from exhaustion by the end. Very good just to work out with though.
but it is more realistic... isnt that what MILSIM aims to do? running with 2LB plates is not realistic...
That’s great, cause I’m so damm small I can measure my width with salad tongs.
But..... I have side panels....
cook books are better
