The LT1 is just the forgotten middle child. Oldschool guys love the o.g. sbc. Younger dudes love the over saturated LS Platform. Lt1 is a perfect example of "jack of all trades, master of none." Too new school for the old heads, Too prehistoric for the tik tok generation 😂.
I had Afterburners Flowtech long tubes on my 95 SS, no issues with fitment only shaved off the bolt from the control arms. Forgot the part # tho. I’m sticking with my LT1, I’m not trying to keep up with modern muscle. These are Classic now. Cruisers that are torquy.
This is the absolute best header for b body, even the 3in exhaust is easy to install and fits perfect, I even upgraded drive shaft to 3.5 alum, an still fits perfect
My LT1 is great once I do the transmission and rear end it have like 60. Thousand miles on the rebuilt with a few internal mods only cause it needed a gasket when I bought it so I was like last me another 20+ years sounds so good and it doesn't sound like 2002 Silverado
I'm saving it and putting it in an older vehicle and converting it to a carb set up. Most likely a foxbody or 3rd gen camaro maybe OBS truck...something more lightweight and much older lol
@@nikothevirgoThat's what I may do with my 94 wagon. I am keeping it forever, so I am going to simplify it as it gets older. 6 speed manual first though...
I am. I'd still buy a cheap used set to test out and then sell or give away when I swap but it's one of those things Im pretty sure will never ever happen lol. They are like gold
These try was your showing on the first ones. I’ve seen in many years.. I always thought that they brought way more horsepower than that forward one collector style? They look good.
@nikothevirgo just picked up my Impala. Finished LS swapping my gbody last year, found you on YT riding hard for the LT until the last few days of me watching YT. Your gone to love the LS but far as me I'm kinda stuck. Was thinking of stroking the LT1 or upgrading it one or the 2 to keep the matching vins. But I'd be lying if I say I haven't thought of LSing it. Like to see you continue to post regardless

I've read alot about those in the forum and haven't heard much good. Some even went back to manifolds
Matter fact this is the first good review I've seen lol
@@nikothevirgo I had good results with them, currently working on a 94 SS and I’m going to slap those on, built on a budget.

Sad to see you have to goo (swap for a LS) after so long of going hard for the LT1 but it’s sad they basically left it for dead . . . RIP LT1 🥺💔

They're the best all around honestly
It’s “expensive” by Chevy standards but still cheaper than Ford and mopar😂
Seems like they are letting the lt1 die and fade out fr
Not sure of the difference of the 91 caprice and the impala ss, but I used a set of 72 chevelle headers.
Just a tad different
If you live in CA and want to keep it smog legal there aren't any options unfortunately.
Wow smh
That never dawned on me lol. That explains why most guys in CA swap theirs or they have the old SLPs
HAPPY HOLIDAYS CHAMP HOW THAT SWAP COMING
Happy holidays
Got most of what I need I just need the time at this point lol

Advanced induction still does lt1 heads
Since when?
@@nikothevirgo they started doing them again about a year to year and half ago
Gen 5 LT1 at least it could still be called an LT1 and better for your pocket , gas mileage and environment

Btw *do not buy the uncoated mild steel headers* no lifetime warranty on those. Most guys I know just go with the 304 SS no coating needed
Someone buy my brand new in box, Clear Image tri y headers😂😂 $1350
Yall too rich for me lmaoo
