2023 was such a year for yugioh, I remember watching Eradicator for 5 live and just laughing for a full hour. Cannot wait to see what happens this coming year !
2023 was definitely my best year in this game. Sure enough, it was my second year but I finally found my footing, even topping a couple locals with a funky Branded build at one point. I have Galzo to thank for a lot of the deck ideas I get and different cards to use, etc
Thanks for doing this recap! I got into Yugioh this year and it's been amazing learning the game again. Also! The aluber vs albaz art at the end; where did you get that art, it looks incredible!!
One big moment that is overshadowed by world championship win itself is the insane 3 day stream of Joshua He not only show that he can stream how to qualify, the support that he recive was a lot. And he proof that just one person (not sharing his account can qualify alone) I'm completely proud of him
As a Sexosister and Lab user, seeying my girls be led to glory was peak for me (don't you dare mess with Mikailis when I'm around or your soul will be banished too)
Considering you are in Europe is probably why you rated some of these moments higher on the list. For me I'd have to say the #1 spot was USA FINALLY after 20 years getting our first Worlds Champion! It even made Billy Brake start crying while he was on the announcer segment! It was such a historical moment for USA Yugioh players! The Exodia moment was definitely #2 greatest moment! ONE MORE PIECE!! ONE MORE PIECE!!!
Ironic to me that we’ve seen many powerful decks come and go. Tearlaments, Kash, ect… but they always get hit to the point where they lost most of that power. Where as branded Despia remains unhit and consistent throughout the year.
well yes 2023 was filled with banger moments, but id say the format wasnt all that great... Kash format sucked... but still very enjoyable new sets, reprints, and moments
Its not as iconic of a moment, but i feel like pointing out that this year also had the very first majorevent won by a woman. Its not among the first things that come to mind right after the year, but its a big moment for yugiohs entire history.
Jeffrey's victory in the FM was worth more than any major event title this year
No feature match will ever be to top his match, it was just too peak 🔥

Wow so great, sick gameplay

Exactly….
As a yugi boomer this was my first year back into yugioh. Really cool to see this recap of why i got excited to play again
Honorable mention-
Nathaniel Christmas Hero feature match was one of the best moments of all time 😊
Lol true. That duel was wholesome. Both players were super chill, even when one was playing runick and the other a floodgate monster 😂
2023 was a great year for me, I learnt how to play the best deck from the best mentor. Thanks for a wonderful year, Gal
Happy new year!
2023 has been an amazing year. Glad to have joined your community and I'm looking forward to working with you in 2024!
Grampa Muto, it's a legend
Honorable mention: Galzo teaching us how to play branded🙌🏽🙌🏽

I think post 2019 this has been my favorite yugioh year I'm grateful to have been a part of the game and the community

It was definitely when i won the time wizard local because my opponent throw the game harder than kayne throwing away his career
Exodia beating tear brings the biggest smile to my face
It was a good year for everyone who could afford the decks.
Grandpas deck has no pathetic cards

Jessica winning is a huge win, not just in the yugioh community🤘🏻🥳🏳️🌈
What do you mean?
@@alexvance09 its also a win for the LGBTQ+ community, especially where the two overlap🏳️🌈

I don’t see a woman in there
@@goatedknowledge6180 Jessica Robinson won the European championship. 3k players definitly is a major event.
Stopped watching when he mispronounced Kashtira
