So, you taught Spanish-speaking people. Perhaps you can relate to my next thought.
I began learning Vietnamese. When I looked at John 3.16, I was quite surprised. In Vietnamese, it says _"For God so loved_ *humanity* ...". I just thought that was interesting.
Thanks for your video. Blessings to you.

That is actually one of the meanings of Kosmos. The people that dwell on the earth, of humankind. Cool translation.

@@TheCaffeinatedBible - Oh, thank you for that! I will make greater use of my Vietnamese translation. I had thought the term "humanity" was just a quirk but you say it is quite legitimate. Cool. We can learn from other languages besides Greek (or Hebrew). This is definitely a different way of looking at it than any English translation. I like it.

Thanks for your channel, I just settled on Logos as a result of your recommendation for software. Don’t know exactly which features I like yet or are the most useful. Still getting used to my layout

Thanks for the yip on the panning. I will check my settings. Check out the extensive list of tutorial videos for Logos. They are very good.

I use Logos, not the software presented here, but I'm pretty sure the number of results you mention each time are for verses containing the word only and not the total time the word is used. That total count looks to be on the right side of the search bar. So, when you searched on 'word', you would have 247 times the word is used across 212 verses.

Wow, great eye! I actually went with the number of verses count because sometimes in the English they include a word two times or more so that it is bettter English grammar - and sometimes they omit the word (often times becuase it was used in the previous verse and the left it out because it seemed redundant in English). So just went with th eeasier count and highlighted the number of verses (locations) where an English word linked to the original Greek or Hebrew. Thanks for being such a keen observer!

Thanks for pointing this out. I learned that my microphone was telling Final Cut it was a stereo feed. But only the left channel was recorded. So I need to set future videos to ‘dual mono’ to correct this. Thanks hopefully this will fix it in coming videos.
