While esoterica and Tarot are globally recognized topics, knowledge about Slavic Legends and
Deities, which we believe have much in common with esoterica, is not as widespread.
We have recognized that combining the unique magic and atmosphere of Slavic Legends
would be an ideal backdrop for a Tarot deck. These are two worlds that can complement and
enrich each other splendidly. Of course, it was impossible for each card in the Tarot deck to
depict a separate Slavic deity or legend, as there are many more Tarot cards than well-known
legends and characters from Slavic mythology. Therefore, many cards simply portray Slavic
folklore from bygone centuries. On these cards, you will also see ordinary people, their
traditional attire, and the tools they used. All of this together creates an incredible atmosphere
that is consistent throughout the entire Slavic Legends Tarot deck from Taroteca-Studio.
We also made sure that the Slavic Legends Tarot is easy to interpret, even for people who are
not familiar with Slavic deities, legends, and customs. That is why, as with previous Tarot
decks created and produced by Taroteca-Studio.com, we largely relied on the classic, easy-to-
read and interpret system of Rider-Waite.
The guidebook for The Slavic Legends Tarot will focus on the Major Arcana, as it is in these
cards that we have included classic Slavic legends, the heroes of these legends, and Slavic
    deities.
The second part of the guidebook, which will be released in the near future,
will be based on explaining the meanings of the cards in terms of Tarot interpretation,
    rather than explaining Slavic symbolism.
This is because mainly Slavic background and folklore will be used there,
without the use of specific characters, deities or legends... - with a few exceptions ;)

Beautuful deck! I don't understand why Taroteca Studio downgraded their cardstock. They used that lushious matte rose petal finish for the Dark Mansion Tarot . I don't mind the fact that rose petal finish makes the cards stick together--it feels luxurious and worth the money you spend of indie decks. Nonetheless, the artwork on this one is exquisite. Thank you for the review🙏

Hi Mina, after I did the review I found out that they have different card stock options for this deck and I did not order the deck through them directly I ordered it through a retailer and the one that I bought comes with this stock paper…. To be fair I have already ordered the bigger card option and with the rose petal card stock…. I will do so a review side by side with the one I have and compete them both…. Thank you for watching and look out for the new review…. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing! I agree it should come with a book! I do love the art though! I’m interested in learning about the Slavic culture. Now that you have had it a few days how are you feeling about it? I’m very new to tarot, how long have you been doing tarot?

Hello Mysticalmisty, welcome to the channel and to the community….this is a good deck, it can be a little overwhelming for me in terms of the pictures as I find the a bit too busy and the fact that it came with no book was for me a bummer really… how ever they do have a PDF on Milne for you to download with all the meanings of the cards. I have been on a tarot path for about 4 years…. Keep in touch and let me know if I can help with anything else… enjoy every step of the way during your tarot experience….
