Layne Kurt and Freddie mercury are the greatest vocalists ever layne had a beautiful tone and range and Freddie had a tone and range no one can ever fully recreate and Kurt could go quite high with that raspy voice and his tone was legendary

So cool. Jim , I have a question if you don't mind. That compression video of yours is helping me big time 😊. But I'm having a hard time to do it in a higher register like that line "I'VE GOT ANOTHER CONFESSION TO MAKE". I can do it at the speaking voice level and I'm getting used to the sensation. But as soon as I try to get higher, I just choke on it 😅. Am I holding back too much? Or there is something else going on, would you mind if I ask you to shed some light on this

Hi Aryan, most of this is down to the specific 'secret' techniques I teach in my courses or private students (that is the fastest way)... the other (FREE) way is to just trial and error, and get it over time. How long depends on how dedicated you are. But if you are dedicated and serious and want to learn fastest, it means investing in yourself. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

Interesting but how do you hit that Bb note in the first place? On a good day I can get to A but I’m more comfortable around F or G tops 🤷‍♀️🤔😅

Top secret ;) Seriously though, there are several techniques and 'secret' tricks/hacks I teach to extend range in my courses, but impossible to explain like in text here I'm afraid :/ Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

I guess that's probably because he has a naturally high pitched voice. And I feel you, we are simply physically unable (in chest voice) to hit that Bb however we rock Pearl Jam, STP and Creed just awesome
