to be honest I am not so sure if the landscape photography is about to have a mules for to carry tons of gears, cameramen, editors and all that .. Nigel sold his soul for youtube videos and fame, maybe some $$ too .. I love shooting astro there and have gotten so many amazing shots.
My favourite memory of there was lying back on the marram grass with a beer in my hand as I shot a timelapse of Orion rising and as I was looking up admiring the stars, a point of light appeared out of nowhere and kept going across the sky. Proof, that shooting a landscape you know, is better. The conditions are neve the same, so you're bound to get new sights and insights. If it's close to home, you're in a luck. I was thinking how much you have a true soul of an artist. No matter what you follow the call, struggle through and endure the irritations and inclinations of weather, or mother nature. You persist in spite of the wind...the rain...
Then, I shuddered. Vincent van Gogh and the mistrals or the ruthless searing sun. He saw beauty, as you do, which had to be expressed, shared, celebrated. You gave me a glimpse...a sense of his life. I pray that he had even moments like yours of gratitude and happiness...
    I wish you many blessings.

Recently the videos from the photography community has been dominated with tutorials, tips and gear advice (which is definitely valued)... but this video is exactly what has been missing! Although many of us amateurs haven't got the means to travel for 30 days at a time, this is the most relatable video I have seen conveying the excitement and emotion of being emersed in beautiful nature and trying to do the landscape justice during a shoot! Absolutely amazing work and the best video I have seen from the community in a long time! On to part 2! 🤩

I always love the peacefulness of your videos, and this is most certainly, no different. Great music in the background, super beautiful videography, you've managed to get out such a calmness, through this truly terrible conditions! All that wind and sand everywhere, must have been so difficult to deal with at some point. Anyways, this is truly epic and so very inspiring to watch, can't wait for the next one. I'm sure it's going to be a wonderful photography documentary, amazing work Nigel!

There is something about being alone with nature that provides one with a clarity that just can't otherwise be achieved. Absolutely awesome video. Next week can't came soon enough.

Absolutely stunning video Nigel. You are right in that it really doesn't get any better. The conditions you had that trip and more importantly that last week were just sublime. To think I was there for 10 days while you were there and for the conditions in the last week, well I'll let your viewers appreciate that when they see it. A pleasure to have met you also. I'm heading back up later in the year once it's quieter again for an extended trip. Thank you

I can’t wait to see how much younger you will look in the final video, Nigel.
The atmosphere of the place and your reaction to it is like watching you being plugged into the mains. Thank so much for this. Can’t wait for the other videos to come.
To contrast with your footsteps on the beach being rapidly lost to the wind, here in New Zealand my son went back to a beach cave to find (only) his footprints still there one year after his last visit.

This is a fantastic start to your month-long adventure. The first instalment worked so well: given its length (I mean that as a positive) and your very clear descriptions of where exactly you were shooting, the viewer gets a much better feeling for how you went about getting your images and the challenges you faced in doing that. Viewers feel like they’re with you on that beach! Well done. I look forward to seeing what happened in the final 3 weeks.

The grass photo @ 49.36 captured the earth shadow beautifully in the background. I think its my fave for this video. Staying still and being contemplative in one place is not something that comes easily to us these days but you managed it so far and its why this video has that intangible something that says there's more to life than we credit. It gives us a chance to lay our placards down, stop up our mouths and simply give thanks.
