The real problem with government is incompetence and lack for political diversity. There should be 4 to 5 main political parties in an election to ensure political parties are accountable to the people. Corruption and a police state mentality has created none democratic elections. UKIP would be a step forward for the UK and A new political party must be established in the United States.
nigelbulls23 The US has breakdown of it's democratic system that is caused both by antiquated laws and civics. We have issues with gerrymandering, politically drawn electoral districts, a ridiculous incumbency rate in both houses of the congress and a new wave of laws that has lead to disenfranchisement of the vote for vast portions of society. The other major issue in the US is lobbying and the infusion of money in politics, which means a politician will not win without money and must adhere to the whims of the donors once elected. I agree more parties need to be introduced in to the political system to allow for greater diversity, however, until the above are solved it won't do any good, as the system is rigged (i.e., by way of Ross Perot and Ralph Nader). Either way, our media is completely muffled and bought out by corporate interests, the "news" here is completely a shame and a farce.
@@wilsonfisk6626 yeah but the difference is Blair acted in the interest of the public at the time. He was hoodwinked by Bush. The tories on the other hand have deliberately lied time again. Nice try though.
The UK currently has a high unemployment rate. Instead of punishing citizens who can't find jobs. Lets examine the role corporations have played in creating unemployment. Corporations have outsourced manufacturing jobs to Asia to avoid laws and taxes. Both the UK and United States must punish these corporations by applying carbon taxes on imported products. The taxes collected from taxes could be apply to tax cuts for corporations who bring manufacturing back to the United States or UK.
It looks to be like the Middle Ages once again. Remember the Middle Ages where there used to be only two groups of people in England and the rest of the world - the filthy rich and the peasants?
The UK economy is on life support right now. International indictors suggest the economy hasn't recover despite pro government propaganda from BCC and CNN. Interest rates haven't moved for over 7 years now. Are low interests rates a sign of a healthy and vibrant economy.
Is Jeremy Paxman a tory by any chance? Clear bias towards Cameron in his questioning. He asked firm questions to Cameron yet practically bullied Milliband. This is why I have NO IDEA which paty to vote for.
paxman is a tory, yes, and that's what you have to expect from the bbc, having massive political bias towards the tories, because they are a government puppet. but you must know as well that labour caused a huge recession and brought in debts among the biggest in history, and its also been proven that every time labour left government the economy was in shambles, so i'd suggest voting tory.
Miliband is a dreadful speaker. Its watching Gordon Brown again. As a politician you need to be able to talk properly. He could not even answer questions. Just got aggressive as not intelligent enough. He sounds like he talks with a jar of peanut butter in his mouth.

I wish we had these types of debates in the US, where politicians are properly held to account for their actions.

Greetings to you from Mr. Carr in the USA
Nnvy G I thought you do have these types of debates in the U.S. approaching the primary and presidential elections...
This wasn't a debate. And politicians here do get tough interviews. Especially Republicans.
CAMERON GOT OFF MUCH LIGHTER THAN MILIBAND. ED COMES ACROSS AS A MORE HONEST CANDICATE
Good ol honest Ed. Just ask his brother. Muppet
Cameron is responsible for the state of the country now. Why has he not been held to account?
Because Prime Ministers are never held to account eg. Tony Blair

Cuz they forgot to pass that law that said offering a referendum on serious issues is a criminal offence.

I would rather have Cameron or Miliband rather than Farage any-day.
You can't ba-rrage Fa-rage.
How about now?...
Paxman had no interest in answers from politicians, only in inflating his own ego and image
Was Ed giving Paxman dirty look at the end for Jeremy to ask if he was all right?
Zero hour's contracts are a cancer to working class people. When are Labour going to ban them?
Neither Ed Miliband or David Camera are suitable candidates to be prime minister.
Yeah and a cheap Camera at that and not a Canon
Rather cameron then boris and rather miliband then starmer
Fast forward 9 years cameron supporting Netenyahu in Gaza Genocide
Ed Miliband isn't a tough man. Does he have a military service record?
What does that have to do with anything?
Does Cameron?

So much better than Jeremy Corbyn though..
@Backkeirstarmer_ Hopefully he gets the same level of electoral success, for the country's sake.
@LennonH05 yeh Starmer is absolutely useless
@LennonH05 if you based your previous judgements off approval rating/voting intentions, he isn’t even doing better than Corbyn
@LennonHartley29 by not opposing the tories in a single way?
