The good officers in my time were NSFs too (humble, empathetic). There was just ONE regular officer tho who was the BEST and truly cared for us, stood up for us, and he resigned not long after we ORDed. He's the type that we would not mind dying for in war.

Those BMT officers are the most jackass 😆 They have no "real" combat experience in unit scenario but still want to wayang to recruits like as if they had been through hell. Ha ha.
