In this video, I will be showing you how to crochet for absolute beginners. A detailed step-by-step tutorial on how to make the basic crochet stitches. I will be covering how to make a slipknot, chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet , double crochet, and triple crochet stitches.
This video will demonstrate VERY SLOWLY how to crochet the basic stitches. I will also go over how to make a slip knot, how to hold your yarn and how to make basic crochet stitches. This is very similar to how to crochet in slow motion/a very slow demonstration of how to crochet for beginners.

My grandmother taught me to crochet/sew during summer visits when I was 7 yrs old. I must have been a very patient little girl & her a patient teacher. she made beautiful blankets for the church. Those memories with her have stayed with me all my life.

Really liked the video. Loved how you showed all the stitches consecutively and explained how you have to skip more stitches in the beginning of the chain as the size of your stitch increases. This helped a lot. Thx!

Every time I would try to make my first chain, it would end with the yarn coming off the hook! Watching your video showed me where I was constantly going wrong.
