A huge storage drive added to the Firestick is unnecessary for most users. You could find it useful for downloading or sharing video files. However, as the Firestick uses FAT32 filing, sizes of files are limited to a maximum size of 4GB.

As a result, I cannot reset the TV's developer options (which I have done in the past). I have searched, I have restarted the TV, I have reset the TV to factory settings. I’ve recently purchased a new Firestick 4k max, I also have a Firestick 4k. They both have Developer installed, my problem is I downloaded a side app called HDO on my older 4k and works fine, I downloaded on the newer 4k max and when I download HDO it opens up really large and distorted, impossible to use. Does anyone know what’s going on?
To troubleshoot the issue, please ensure that both the HDO App versions are the same on your 4K and 4K Max devices. To check this, go to Settings, then Applications, then Manage Installed Applications, and select HDO. Look on the right side of the screen for the version number and ensure it is the same on both devices.
Tks for your help, I’ve solved my HDO problem. The HDO version on the 4k is 1.1.0 , so I found a site that had the older version . The newer version is 2.2.0 , doesn’t work on max.

I don’t see the downloader in the developer menu. The only choices I see in the developer is ADB debugging and Apps from Unknown Sources
Click Unknown Sources to turn it from OFF to ON. That's all that's needed on older devices :)
