We love you in our household, even my 5 year old sits and watches. There are many teachable moments for children to learn from. As parents we have to be very open minded and real with our children (just my personal opinion)

Hi from the UK 🇬🇧 Chris. First of all I have literally been gripped to your content for the past couple of weeks- absolutely love the videos. My only slight issue was what the Barber 💈 raised with you in this video - I didn’t agree with alcohol being given to the guys in the video where you bought the shrimp. They were clearly addicts and very open about it and I just saw the alcohol offering as being an enabler. When the Barber raised it with you, you took the constructive feedback with complete grace, and that’s what life is all about. We don’t get everything right but it’s about the way we open our hearts to take on board feedback and learn, as you did. Really can’t wait for more videos from around the world 🌎
Hey Chris, I heard the barber stated that you offer drinks more than food, which is not true! I've been updated with every video you posted in Belize. In all the videos you offer food. In jungle you purchased a bucket of tamales, in gungulung you did BBQ, in some other local area you had shrimps, in Caye Caulker you made hot dog; so you offer food & drink. Must I mention that most Belizean would ask for a drink before food ? You're doing excellent my brother !

We are canadians visiting Dangriga just now as well, enjoy it, we've had a great time! But today is the start of our drive back to Cancun to return home!

Grew up with hella Belizeans in South Central La and your videos got me wanting to move to Belize in the contrary of what he said or what some may think. I agree with your hobby of wanting to see the culture and way of life in a place. Regarding their negative attitude and likes, let it be, everyone knows to change a generation with all the values like people in the first country and develop not with the current generation but it takes 2-3 generations. There may be voices of people in a certain place who don't like your video materials, this is normal and everywhere there are people like them. whatever your videos are really interesting because you make pictures in various places around a country. For the record, it was not about the birds per se, but about a more 360 degree portrayal of Belize and both its amazing environment and its beautiful, kind people. I told Chris about how I dropped my wallet twice here, and both times the finders went out of their way to return it to me, a total stranger, with every penny still in it!! Sadly Chris ran out of video time and space, so he couldn’t upload that part of our conversation. I hope to run into him again some day. I think he’s headed to Guatemala today. Stay in touch Chris!!

I dropped my wallet once in San Pedro and it was gone within 10 minutes. And the police was super unhelpful and blamed me for dropping it. Even though I led them to the guys who picked it up (I had a tracker), they still would not help.
Belize is my home, and it is paradise on earth. But there are problems. Denying it ignorant.
There are people who show the beauty of Belize. Mostly for tourism.
Then there are people who show the crime and negativity in Belize. This is mostly news and documentaries.
Then there is Chris. He challenges the negative stereotypes by actually visiting local areas and just walking around and talking. Nobody does this kind of stuff. And it is fascinating to watch!
You advising him to change miss the whole point of his show. I think instead of trying to change Chris, you need to change what you watch.

That man in the van is completely missing the point of Chris’s content, first off Chris is not responsible for highlighting the “good parts” of Belize, he goes to the less fortunate neighbourhoods to show how these people are living, tbh I rather watch this type of content because it’s the raw truth. Never stop putting out these type of great content, everyone has a right to their own opinion but that don’t mean it’s the right opinion!

Where is the Jancunu or the Celebrations or the date. I left British Honduras, Stann Creek now known as Dangriga, and Pomona (Sharp Citrus Company; my father, Herncroft London Castillo was the Supervisor and my Mom, Orleen May Burke-Castillo a Great Cook had her own Restaurant in Dangriga, Stann Creek District) as a child of 9 or 10 years in 1960 by Heron to Puerto Cortez, Spanish Honduras then to he Los Angeles, CA USA at age 13 , I am 70 years old now. And I enjoy Christ Must List video, Chats, Etc.

Im from dangriga its Garinagu people and its Garifuna language... i would advise you to spend a night in hopkins village for a better perspective of the culture
I was in Belize back in January and wanted to get to Hopkins Village so badly. Was with a group, so had to go with the majority, but really wish I could’ve gone. I read that’s the best place actually to see the Garifuna culture.

Chris I'm loving your videos. Even though l was born in Belize, l only lived in the city until l was 19. Now I'm 66 yrs and just seeing areas of Belize l didn't know exist. I visit almost every year but never been in those areas. Thanks a d do visit again.

Met the Mayor of Dangriga, Mayor Sylvia Flores sometime ago when she visited St. Vincet and the Grenadines. It was a major highlight for me.
The guy in the car just doesn’t understand what Chris is trying to showcase in his videos. We know they have 5 star resorts and world renowned chefs in Belize. We know they have all types of expensive liquors, cars, and adventures that will cost you an arm and a leg, but is that the real Belize that the average citizen lives? No.
So why can’t y’all go to the poor neighborhood and build nice little bridges for people to walk like you do good area I see that them people can’t even walk across the swamp. You mean to tell me all that money coach and y’all can build a bridge

The barbers advice makes sense in most circumstances. The only time I remember offering Badman before food is when I met 3-4 men on the street already drinking. We then ate Shrimp an hour later. So in general I'm not walking around the streets offering free alcohol. I appreciate his feedback.

The Belizean people always have a smile on their faces they seem so happy , kind respectful relaxed and friendly they are poor materially but they seem to be rich with love and kindness, I live in a third world country and especially in one of the city of this country I notice that most of the people are rude they don’t smile they are arrogant and can be very disrespectful this goes to to show that material things don’t make you happy

Hey Chris. A bit of a backstory on why the Garífuna in Belize are black.
The Garífuna people come from a mixture of Africans whose slave ship crashed and indigenous Natives from St. Vincent which is where the ship crashed.
The European came and separated the darker ones from the lighter ones and sent the darker ones to a prison in Roatan, Honduras, where the ship crashed again and the people settled in southern belize, Guatemala, and Honduras.
So you can find light skinned garífuna in Saint Vincent
