They are definitely a prime piece so it depends on where you want to spend your money. In my case, this is one of the primary recovery methods since I am not doing a winch.
@@QuantiQualificationI'm no Knocking them, because they do look good. I'm also not opposed to spending money on my FJ, I have $4.5k just in my suspension, and another $2.5k in tires. So I'm not afraid to spend the money, But there are some things that just aren't worth it to me. My front recovery points were only $140ish, and they are just as structurally sound as the Kaon's, and they don't affect my approach angle at all. The other thing I will never understand are RotopaX. Why would someone drop $80+ for a 2 gallon gas can?
That is wicked! No way will it be moved!!
Yeah, it is super solid!
Just got these. They are an Australian company. Make many other good products for the fj.
KAON seems to be the full package. Great engineering, great company.
Where did you get them?
I bought them straight from Kaon in Australia. Here is their website: www.kaon.com.au/
These things are cool, just not $500 cool

LOL, I hear you with the rotopax. Only time I contemplated them was when I was thinking about shoving some UNDER an old series Land Rover.
