Amazing point by Brian on how the leafs are incredibly lucky to have made the playoffs every year. They have had more chances to get to a second round or third round or final than any other team in the NHL.

This is a comment/question . As a Canucks fan … they fired Bruce , hired Rick ( I didn’t think it was the right choice at all ) I didn’t think the Canucks had the players to play the style he wanted . I was so wrong , sure they brought in 2 players at the deadline …. The Canucks players that I thought didn’t have it in them … do have it . Question. Is with a coaching change in TO do the players have in them to play a harder game ? From the outside looking in …. They don’t . But I was wrong about the Canucks .
But with players like Matthews and Marner who are only regular season players, Keefe had an invisible fight against their lack of heart playing in the playoffs. Aside from losing his shit on them behind the bench game in and game out during the playoffs he tried to motivate them to produce. But if these guys don't have the Mojo to take the team well down the playoff road...Keefe is fighting an uphill (and losing) battle. Granted, Keefe should have during some times in some series acted better tactically, that we see is true. But one cannot knock him for any lack of accountablility, he owned it. He's swallowing the shit production that three of the core were dishing.
