dude, great video as always. virgin is a very interesting because of their history of being a LLC then a full service carrier and now more of a hybrid airline (Biz up front but LLC style for the folks in the back) i do really enjoy flying them and especially on their sky interior 737s with the purple mood lighting. i just wish that they gave out a little something especially on longer routes to perth and int, but hey maybe im just missing flying their a330s to perth with a full meal service haha. but in all seriousness hopefully they can fully bounce back and perhaps purchase a few wide bodies as it sure would be nice to have more than one full service airline here to bring qantas' prices down!!! as for the interior, the new seats look great and i think the reason behind you not having the device holder on your biz class flight was due to it either being a recently refurbed plane. Cant wait for more vids!!
Thanks for watching man! Unfortunately, when I was returning from Perth I had a chat with the staff who confirmed the wide body acs will not return and we may have to wait a while for the snacks to be brought back as well. Of course, I’d love to see both of those back asap haha. Thanks for your ongoing support! Regards, Nilesh
I think VA is absolutely great for Aus domestic travel. A decent product for a good price that is significantly less than QFA. They've done a good job being a sharepartner with Link Airways which has much better access to regional Australia (important for the travel I do). I think the best aspect of VA is how hard they have hustled to regain Codeshare agreements with big international airlines. Being a partner with QTR, SIA and ANZ (hopefully soon) makes them incredibly appealing for international travel.
virgin australia is goated, i flew mel to bne on saturday and one of the attendants greeted everyone by first name when boarding, it was a nice gesture and made you feel welcome onboard
Nice honest objective review there mate! Be sure to review there 737-700 flights if you haven’t already done so yet as that’s a pretty cool experience!
Virgin Australia is nothing better than what was Virgin Blue. They are a terrible airline who have closed most of their Lounges. Talking of Tassie, Qantas has a lounge in Launceston (and of course Hobart). Virgin Blue doesn't have a lounge anywhere on the Island. They're a f'ing joke and as soon as Australia allows airlines like Singapore to fly domestically, that's when we'll see some real competition with Qantas. Virgin Blue (or whatever they're trying to rebrand them selves as) is Jetstar - they're not a premium airline. How was the Lounge experience in Hobart? Non existent right? Maccas or KFC is what Virgin Blue consider an airport Lounge for their Business Class and Premium passengers...
Singapore has tried and failed in the Australian market through their investments in Tiger and Virgin. Can't see them wasting billions on a 3rd Australian attempt when they've since redirected their investments into India (which is a larger market than Australia)
My favourite airline
Glad to hear!

Have had a couple of em do that on my flights too haha. Usually a privilege only extended for business class passengers, it’s certainly a nice touch

@@nilskyproductions no worries mate sorry I hadn’t come across that one yet. I’ll be sure to get around having a look :)
Great video as always! Just for your information. When I flew virgin a week ago, their menu said they now accept online payments such as apple pay!!
Hi there! Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!
Yes, this was brought to my attention.

Nilesh
Do they accept cash?
@@katyb2793 cash is not accepted on any flights in Australia.
@@nilskyproductions ah 😔 thank you!
These flight reports really make you FEEL like you're cruising at 35 000 feet

VA has good lounges in actual airports
Far better than the other one beginning with Q. But you are correct about freeing up domestic airspace for foreign competition.
