The 50 cal is just really out-dated in terms of how much the game has progressed since the days when it was just strykers and BTR-80s. Not to mention the overheat is one of the worst in the game. Personally, had a turkish 50 cal emplacement unloading into the side of an ASLAV on an invasion layer at about 100m distance, the gunner never saw where the fire was coming from (rooftop emplacement), just backed up smoking and went off to repair. It was . . . disappointing . . . to say the least, to get the drop on an LAV like that and not have anything to show for it.

squad leans more to damage output, rather than modular damage, in other words, not that ‘realistic’
