I work at UPS and a costumer gave me a box she couldn't return (thinking it was a doll) so I figured I'd give it to someone in need, but I opened it to find this unopened smart blanket and just got it home. I'm gonna give it to my mom. Great review! Thanks. 😊
This is my third blanket and I thought maybe the other two were just broken. I can get the app and I can get it to connect to my phone but the last stage when there’s a blanket unfolding and it says connecting to Wi-Fi then connecting to cloud but it never goes any further than that…
The video also does not explain how to activate RH blanket in Alexa. We had to open Alexa, click on More in the lower right hand corner select Skills, then in the search window search for RH blanket, click on RH blanket and settings I'm there finally is the button to link RH blanket in Alexa!
How did you get it to work? I just received the same one as a gift and did exactly as you did but the wifi isn't popping up. All I'm getting is a flashing blue light if it's unconnected or a solid one when it's on
A solution to the ridiculous verbiage "Alexa tell RH blanket to turn the downstairs blanket on" We created a routine and activated by saying "Good morning blanket" that tells Alexa to " tell RH blanket to turn on the downstairs blanket"
Once I turned on my location, the app was able to find the blanket. Don't back out of the install once it has started. If you do it will never complete nor allow you to start the setup process over for that blanket. The blanket will still get hot but you won't be able to control it.
@@LaReinaProductions okay but i talked to their tech support today and if you unplug the blanket, hold the button WHILE plugging it back in, continue to hold the button down until the light turns on, it resets it and u can find the wifi then
OK ,, I got all the way to the end and last thing password for wifi andit keeps timing out,,, BUT I found that if you get to the place where you need wifi to recognize it , unplug then hold the button on controller then plug in to outlet, keep holding the control button, for about 30 seconds, then let go it will flash blue lite,, then be in the setting section on phone wifi, it will show up as a W-#####, click to connect, when you go back to rhsleep , the check marks will happen to 2 items ,, then it will ask for password for wifi network, put it in and hit done and summit, but here is where mine times out trying to connect to my wifi. I have a duel wifi 5.8 & 2.4 soshould work.
For everyone wondering about the wifi be sure you hold the power button till a blue light is flashing if you have a ISO device the location has to be on for it to connect to your wifi. Should work after that

Love it. Although I just purchased an electric throw I will definitely be looking to a wifi throw next time around.
Could always rotate it 180 degrees if you don't like the plug position 😅

Might came up for a few seconds not long enough to connect to it and now it won't come back.
@@tjs77tsa mine didn't get that far. I gave up on it and just use it at its regular setting
Unplug the cord from the blanket then try press and hold the button until it starts blinking

@@zzreaper4499 I was having the same issue, but all I did for it to work was I unplugged it from the blanket and plugged it back in. Should work
It still isint finding the wifi, my location is on and it’s blinking
The app and connection process is very wonky. I have IT and computer application experience and this is more iffy than most.
Did you get yours to connect? I am fighting mine. I even bought a new router to make sure I had 2.4 gHz. Still no love.
