@Lxiyah if you have blood related family in Korea, long term stay is easy. The next best option would be student visa. There is no working holiday visa as I know of right now.
ive been interested in learning korean since 2017?! and im hoping that in 2025 i can study korean at uni and move after 4 years !! i hope i can reach you level
Thank you so much!! I am in Korea right now only for a few weeks but really want to come back for a longer term next year. This helped a lot because I've been wondering what I may need when it gets to that point.
I was watching your video on TV but switched to a phone so I can leave a comment! I love your videos - they are very cute and well-made! I am a Korean living in a different country, and it's cool to see how a "foreigner" would go through what I am going through in a different country, but in Korea (if all this makes sense)! It's amazing you have decided to experience new things on your own when you are so young, and I am sending all the luck to your way and your journey! Plus, your Korean is absolutely awesome. I wish I get to speak another language like you do. Best of luck!
hey! im 3 days before my flight to seoul with my H1 visa like you, i just wanted to tell you that its amazing to see how you really get along there by yourself, really amazing to see how you overcome the struggles. by the way you were right about the appointment because during this month its possible to book for the next day. but as we both know by the begining its not easy at all but i really admire your motivation fighting!
i've always wanted to move abroad, my grandma is all for it and is telling me to research stuff now (i'm 16!) because i have two years to save up money and get things together because i want to attend college in korea. luckily, i graduated from high school when i was 15 so i can spend these two years researching
I was blown away when you said you were German because of your Californian accent! And I almost lost my mind when I heard you speak in fluent Korean🤣🤣 I would have to go through the same steps after my fiancé moves to Seoul. Your video was much helpful🙏
This video was really helpful thank you for sharing, I'm on the working holiday visa too! I'll be arriving to Seoul beginning of March and I have my ARC appointment pre-booked for around that time, so hopefully i'll be fully prepared now 😂

This video will give some handy tips for those who want to move to Korea. God job!!!!! In terms of weather, I am also puzzled with weird weather condition. The temperature and humidity must be lowered. Something goes wrong. So don't be panicked with this weather.
I’m Korean but born and raised in the US. More and more each day I want to make the move to live there. I don’t know what’s holding me back. I speak Korean enough to get by and obviously fluent in English. I’m in my early 40s and I just have a fear of not knowing how the job market and opportunities would be there. 😬
I plan to hopefully study abroad in Korea and do some of the language school (I think it’s mandatory idk) and maybe move if I fall in love with it like I think I will! Any tips?
Hi, there! I'm glad you were able to finish the ARC application. I have read on Google that it's possible to create a bank account without the ARC, have you checked this possibility? Also, in terms of money, at least until you have your bank account, I highly suggest Wise, it has a debit card and works 99% of the time in Korea, especially in Seoul. :)
Hello, I just discovered your channel and I can tell that your video is really helpful, so thank you so much ! I arrived 1 month ago to Korea and I also have a working holiday visa. I took all of your advice and for now I have all the documents ready for my appointment in 3 weeks. The only thing I don’t have is the “tuberculosis test result”. Do you remember the name of the health center that you went? I have trouble finding one now 😅. Thank you so much in advance for your help.
Hi at what point did you become fluent in Korean? I’m one year in of studying consistently but I still have a difficult time. I guess I’m at beginner level and I figured by intermediate I’ll be able to understand.
I‘ve been learning Korean for 6 years now and I can’t really say at what point I became fluent but it definitely wasn’t after one year. Just give yourself time and keep being consistent, I’m sure you’ll see results soon enough :)
