I'll be buying one for sure. I have a PC with a 4090 and a 7950x3D, but I spend all day working at it so it's good to sit back and enjoy a console. I originally went to PC due to poor performance in the Xbox360 days, but nowadays we're getting there in terms of FPS on consoles.
Working at a PC all day I can totally understand wanting to kick back on the couch to play instead. I try to balance playing at both though depending on the mood.
I will be buying a PS5 Pro day one. An additional reason you didn't mention is for the PS VR2 which has been confirmed will see benefits from the upgraded hardware.
Thanks for the reminder about PSVR2 as I didn't think about that! Admittedly moreso since Playstation have seemingly given up on it but maybe that'll change with the State of Play tomorrow?
I stil have my Xbox One X. I never upgraded to XB Series X and I dont feel the need for it. This console was a good investment.. It never got old. It still plays the latest games and if I absolutely need to try XB X/S game I can run it from the cloud, and to be honest no upgrade needed. I have over 400 games on that thing so im never bored.
I think Sony really needs to show how worthy of an upgrade it is. If anything now is the most important time for a showcase dedicated to PS5 Pro enhanced titles.
