Because of Boba Fett we had to make due with CGI Tarkin in Rogue One.
It was a suicide, the man knew what we was getting himself into when he didn't pay Boba Fett and he knew that he was going to end up killing him. he had nothing left to lose he didn't have any money he didn't have any Imperial Glory didn't have his wife or his ship. All he wanted to do was see her one last time before he died.

The worst part of it was that Boba didn't get paid.

What I find kind off funny is that the box itself seemed to of been made of gold so if he sold it that would net him a few hundred credits it also belonged to a fallen "hero" of the empire possibly adding on a few extra thousand credits of value add the fact that this will increase his infamy and make it so that people would be less likely to try and back stab him I would say this rather profitable to him not at that moment but in future people will remember to pay him handsomely or join their marks

They made that Imperial look really human instead of being typical evil Imperial. All he wanted was to hear his dead wife say his name one more time and when he died, he died with dignity and without any regrets.

Seems to be his sole intention was suicide by Fett.
Getting to see his wife one last time and then get executed by Fett was planned for and intended, I think. That's why he agreed to pay "half" up-front. It was all he had left as far as credits, and not being able to pay the other "half" would be justification enough for Boba to give him his final wish; to be with his wife again.
Boba Probably took the job due to the large down payment.

Boba kind of gave the guy what he wanted if Bobo really wanted to be a prick he could have just destroyed the image of his wife and left him alive but anyway Bobo gave him what he wanted
Boba's actions here make me respect his character more. Most bounty hunters would probably have left him to rot in his sorrow or kill him much more violently. Boba gave him what he wanted and quickly. At worst he was rather annoyed about this for wasting his time for little pay.

He probably made it quick also on account that maybe he knew how Aron felt. Even though they were divorced, he still loved Sintas, so he made it quick because this man clearly loved his wife very much

It was all democratic propaganda by rebels. And democracy failed once in old republic. Trade Federation only defended themselves and rights to proper trade & taxations.

MultiGG2 | Correct. Free Euthanasia, like it was offered to The Simpsons' Mr. Burns. Any other Bounty Hunter would just leave, or at least demand payment later on. But Boba Fett know the old man wanted to die, so he just used an expensive blaster shot.

Not Boba. He's a professional. He kills non-payers, even when they're suicidal.
Smartfren Andromax no. Just no. Blaster shots are not expensive, it’s an energy weapon. And bounty hunters are ruthless people who would kill the man and take his money. Boba killed him quickly and efficiently because he’s efficient, and he most likely has a code of honor. Any bounty hunter would have killed him
@@nicholasali3566 there seems to be a certain level of inconsistency on the nature of blasters, largely thanks to the games. Do blasters need "ammo" or don't they? Who the hell knows...

DahLekKnight The Empire is also to blame. They literally threw that Moff (who was an Imperial hero) under the bus just so they wouldn't have to admit that the Rebellion took out a Star Destroyer under their nose. The same Moff is also the one who sent Boba, which lead to the death of those two pilots.

He kills his client if he doesn't get paid. Boba's a smart guy, though, he knew he wanted that. He's a professional, though, and he has rules to follow, he's not going to spare his life just because he wants to die.
This makes what Darth Vader does look normal. No wonder Vader and Boba get along so well, they’re a lot alike.

the only time I can think of when his emotions got the better of his professionalism is when his wife and child is involved.
He was probably just annoyed that he wasted his time, but due to his professional nature, he heard him out before finishing business.

I don't think so, Bobba isn't a sadist, he is a professional and chooses the simplest and most quick solution. I think he would have done the same even if the old man didn't have a sad back story.

He 'should' have beaten the man to death as a warning to others to not screw with him. Instead he executed him painlessly, letting him look at the hologram. He could have smashed it, beaten him and curb stomped his wind pipe so he could drown in his own blood. I would say he showed a little mercy. Partly out of pity, partly out of respect for not trying to run.

This was planned by Aron from the start. He knew of Boba Fett's reputation for being ruthless, and he even stated he was disgraced by the Imp's for the loss of his ship. He lost his wife and has been alone since. He did not have the will to do it himself, but he knew the best way to have the trigger pulled without hesitation. He never planned on having money ready and he made sure to say something to really anger Fett. Planned from the start.

People like to forget that Boba Fett is almost always a villain, he sometimes has redeeming qualities like in legends when he helped his half brother and saved his life, but for the most part he’s in it to get rich

Ok this is was a great comic, a short story and we see that the Empire just like everyone suffered in war and had reasons to hate the rebellion, I was shook, this type of comics are what Star Wars needs, NOT that mediocre comics marvel is doing with SW, this is more mature
Why did the ship wreck explode?
I thought the countdown was for a carrier to arrive to pick up the TIE fighters.
The star destroyer was Scuttling what was left of it. From what we saw the databanks were still working, Imagine if the rebellion or Pirates could get into the system and download the latest codes and troop movements from the system. Plus all the scrap and Ordinance that would be salvaged.

That was a mercy kill. I would've liked to see him either take the box and hold it until he was paid or destroy the box while the captain cried.
