Bielsa, man. The best couple of years, not only of my football life but my life in general, and during a crazy hard time for everyone.
Before leeds, he'd worked with the best but to see him translate his ideas onto a mid table team and for them to then execute it like they did, astonishing.

People say he cannot be the greatest manager because he’s won very little. But there cannot be a manager who improves players more than Bielsa and in such a short period of time. At the start of this season I believed we had 1 or 2 players of Premiership standard. Now I think there’s only 1 or 2 additions to be made. It’s truly unbelievable what he’s done with these players.
Same he did with Chile and Claudio Bravo , Alexis Sánchez, Arturo Vidal and lots of really smart players come out of his time training the national team 🙌🙌🙌 he it’s the best thing that can happen for any team

man, this Argentine is very well known in South America and Argentina for forming offensive teams, who plays nice, a lot pass balls, but always with sad endings, defeats. He needs ACHIEVEMENTS, RESULTS, only beauty is insufficient.
I am so proud of Bielsa, he brings so much passion for football to our club which matches the passion of our fans and now our players are playing with passion because of Bielsa. The Chemistry and belief at our club is huge. Other clubs are looking at Leeds and know they are in for a battle. Lost by a late penalty to Liverpool have put 5 in their net 2 struck off, but how many teams do that at Anfield. City could have easily lost by a couple of goals but points shared. On the balance 7 points from 4 games is super. Get to 40 and then I will rest. We have a super set up now , Owners, Management, Players, Youth and Fans. Jusy

And surely that is the yardstick by which coaches should be judged. How much they improve the players individually and the squad in general at their disposal. NOT by who has the biggest cheque book. Bielsa goes out of his way to do things that are difficult for the very reason that they are so, and to test and prove himself, and more importantly, his team. Because they are just that. HIS team.
