Prior to FDR buckling to the drums of war, and allowance of Pearl Harbor (it was known of and warned about but he needed a cause to rope Americans into war) America was over 90% against joining the war. That moment when, at one of the Antifa rallies, a WW2 vet on the street looked at them, heard and saw who they were, and asked for an M1 Garand so he could kill the communist scum, brings a tear to my eye. Our WW2 vets would have just as quickly killed these scums of bitches, as they would have the actual NatSocs of Germany in the 40's, and not shed tear or thought twice about stacking Antifag bodies.

This kinda triggers me, being an old White Guy.....I knew men who fought and killed Nazis, I grew up talking to oldtimers who were veterans of WW2. I knew a man who was a Maquis Hero (French Resistance, he killed dozens of Nazis), I knew men who had been captured by the Nazis and held in Stalags, I knew Eastern European men who fought their way West in the war (and kept going once they hit Germany because they said the Soviets were just as bad). When I hear these people throw the Nazi tag around it makes me mad, I was told stories of what these men saw fighting in that war, what they did to civilians, to have these weak SJW's diminish the horrors of that war not only insults those who fought and stopped the Nazis, but the victims as well

The problem is that there are many political movements in the West that advocate for Socialism/Communism, you'll see many CCCP-flags at major leftist rallies. Just take a look at the British Labour Party. Most (self-proclaimed) Socialists/Communists will justify the crimes committed by past Communist regimes or they have no idea about the history of Communism at all.
Just picture a rally of a right-wing party with Swastikas everywhere, here and there a Nazi salute and when confronted with the Holocaust they deny it, don't you think that if something like this would be happening all over the Western World, that maybe it's time to rethink the way we look at history?

What's weird to me that in America the main political distinction is liberal and conservative, with little or no reference to the left or right wing of the political debate. Originally I assumed these were parallel ideas but now it seems people think they can't be leftwing and denounce some element of libertarianism (or other confounding factors).
