This is a fun app Spanish would have been the language I would have learned if I wasn’t adopted. English is what I know and always wanted to know Spanish so that I could go back to my birth country one day and help my family translate it. Lol. I’ve learned quite a lot!

At which level of unit in Duolingo should I be before I can start listening to Duolingo podcasts? According to it, I should be in the intermediate level to fully optimize the Duolingo podcasts but it did not indicate what unit in Duolingo it is that can be considered an intermediate level. Thanks.
I grew up in California so I had to take Spanish in middle school, high school, and college. But it was forced on me so it didn't stick. But I had a base. By my first month I was having full conversations at work. Which is less than an hour from the Mexican boarder. I'm on month 3 and let me tell you this. Duo is absolutely useless if you don't just pay for the full year. The free version is ad supported but you get a 60 second ad after every lesson. A lesson isn't even 4 minutes unless it's crazy hard. And the free version has this heart system that idk who's idea that was but it's demoralizing and will make you quit. Like you can get 5 questions wrong or you can't continue the lesson for like 6 hours. Because that's how you lear right? Like you go to college and your instructor says "man you're really having a problem with this section... get out of my class and I'm keeping your book". But once you get the paid version... I got zero complaints. Except mother effing telefono! You know how hard it is to suddenly us an F where you're used to a PH? It's blasPHemy!!!
The only thing I dislike about Duolingo is maintaining Diamond status VS premium users who can just keep spamming their score regardless of mistakes because they have infinite hearts and double XP.
"Stop being poor" Duo No really I had a free 2 weeks if premium when I first started. Then went to the free version. Bro as soon as I got paid I bought the year. I don't know how you do it. 5 hearts... so I confuse ser vs estar and a misspelling. I'm done for the day. That's it.

@@crusiethmaximuss duo is probably owned by EA games. I'm waiting on the duo expansion pack. Have you checked out their Spanish podcast? It's pretty useful.
Olha eu pensei bem e vale mais a pena fazer um curso de inglês e outras línguas do q baixar o Duolingo e melhor Translation :look, I thought about it and it's better to take a course than downloading Duolingo is better Even the translator is a better teacher than duolingo

I think you reach intermediate level when you finish the course, so in Spanish it would be unit ten which is the last one.
