I adore your absolute joy in hearing the amazingness that is VP ^.^ You can literally pick any song they've done and it will blow you away, no matter what it is. They reimagine old classics, sing to us nerds with their game covers, give new life to disney songs, create intricate arrangements with their medleys, and sing like goddamn angels. Can't wait for you to see more!

"Valhalla Calling" is even better. It features their absentee member J. None. Just wait 'til tou hear him and his solos.

After watching this I downloaded the soundtrack. I don’t play the game but I listen to the music!
You probably aren’t aware of this, but if you check the credits you’ll see who was involved in the production. This one was arranged by Geoff. The person who does the arrangement is generally responsible for the entire production. Other than the final mix and makeup, this is them. The lighting was done by Eli, the bald tenor. It was filmed at PattyCake Productions, which is co-owned by the beatboxer and a prior member.
Cesar was wearing real chainmail which weighed about 20 pounds and he had to lie down between ctakes because it was so heavy. The other elf with the angelic voice is Omar Cardona. He appeared on last year’s season of The Voice placing fourth. He and Cesar are best friends and have been roommates in the past.
90% of the arrangements are done 50-50 between Geoff and Layne ( beatboxer). Eli has done a few and he will be easing into the rotation.
If you want to see what your reaction looks like to us, go check out What It Do Dave . He’s a huge gamer and his joy is absolute. Another reaction I love to watch is by Arab Man Reacts. He got so excited when Geoff showed up, he stopped his reaction to the music and went out and created an avatar based on Geoff . 😂
When I am feeling a little bored or just need a “pick me up”, I will sometimes go out and watch those two reactions due to the pure joy that they share. I’ve added you to that list. Keep going down that rabbit hole, you will not be disappointed.

I always have to laugh that Geoff's first notes are so surprising the fact he walks in the room with a human skull in his hand and sets it on a table escapes notice. Great reaction hope you will do more VP.💀⚔🐉

You've received lots of game recommendations, don't forget to try their other stuff. I'd suggest:
Hoist the Colours - Pirates of the Caribbean 3
In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins
    Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
    The Lion Sleeps Tonight

I've seen this so many times now and I'm blown away every time. You can't beat VoicePlay for a capella videos, especially theatrical ones. They are in a league of their own. Multi talented guys.

As a Voiceplay fan I love seeing reactors discover them. You have a lot of great music to enjoy. I do recommend watching the videos all the way through, no always but fairly often there's some extra goodies to be found.

LOVE your reactions. 2 now, and you're golden. Subscribed and liked. How do they harmonize like this? Genius arrangements. The first one, Halo, was arranged by Layne, the beatbox. This one was arranged by Geoff, the bass. Historically, the two have switched off, and whoever does the arrangement, also does the video and mostly everything. Recently, they announced that Eli (rock tenor) will be joining them. Up till now, Eli has mostly done visuals - lighting, backdrops. BUT - he also did all of Creep a few months ago, and it's stunning..

Welcome to the Voiceplay rabbit hole. They recently did Sleeping in the Cold Below from Warframe and Geoff did a solo cover of Unshaken from Red Dead Redemption 2. But they also do loads of stuff that isn't from games, and it's just as impressive.

They are a fantastic group and many haven't heard them sing a note before, which is super sad since they are so good. :) I can't recommend one song, so just listen to ALL of them since they are all so good. :) Well, I guess there is a video for a song that I will recommend, they (Voiceplay) and another acapella group (Home Free) did right after they were both on Sing-Off. Voiceplay and Home Free sang Survivor and oh, man, seeing the Home Free guys in their get up just kills me everytime. I think Survivor is the only song that isn't on their channel, so I do recommend that since it is a great song with 2 great acapella groups...then everything on their channel should be on the list to listen to. :D Great reaction & I really liked your Halo reaction as well. I never played Halo and I loved the song. Thanks!

This video was my introduction to Voiceplay. And is one of my top favorite videos.
I've never played the game. Never even heard of it until I watched this video.
Geoff's latest video is "Unshaken" from the Red Dead Redemption 2 video game. Very low bass through most of it.
He brought back the ghost cowboys from his "Ghost Riders In The Sky" video. It's before they died and became ghosts.

These guys and Home Free are my favorites right now and if you haven't seen 'Skull and Bones' by Home Free it's a good one also. Ubisoft saw them do a sea shanty and asked if they could write a shanty for their new pirate game. Lucky for us the groups shanty guy Chance was up to the task. One of my favorites by Voice Play is 'Valhalla Calling'. Hope you have fun exploring!

Whatever looks good won't disappoint, whatever doesn't look good will shock you with how much you like it. I think a lot of their earlier stuff with 2 song mashups don't get enough love like I knew you were trouble, or the ACA top 10s, but since they've been putting stuff out they've been great and have only gotten better

My favorite song of theirs is My Mother Told Me. It is an old Viking song that has made appearances in the tv show Vikings and one of the Assassin's Creed games.
If you want to give something completely different a try, I would love to see your reaction to the band Jinjer, specifically Pisces(Live Session). Just don't do any research on it first.

I highly recommend geoff's solo cover of "unshaken" from rdr2. It's fantastic, and shows off a ton of geoff's lower end register talents, as well as some of his higher end too. To see his entire range, i reccomed his cover of "black bird" by the beetles. Also wicked game is one of my favorites from him, as well as Jack's lament for a more halloween and theater type vibe.

Your hair makes it hard to tell, but if you are not using headphones, then you’re missing much of it. Normal speakers can’t hang with them.
And you’ve got Geoff Castellucci. So the other three current members are Layne Stein - beatboxer. Cesar DeLaRosa - Baritone and Eli Jacobson- tenor. Eli is NOT pronounced as E-Lie. Pronounce it like “jelly” without the J. It’s short for Eliezer.
Valhalla Calling and Nothing Else Matters would introduce you to a singer named J. None. He was a memo of the group for a very long time, but left we he signed up for the Navy. He’s part of the Navy’s band now. But he still records with VoicePlay when he’s on leave. You should figure out who he is now because you’ll see plenty of him as you go through their older stuff. Cesar was actually his replacement, but I love hearing them together. They sound fantastic.

Please please please please react to Voiceplay's "Valhalla Calling". This is a phenomenal take on the Skyrim song. But VC is from Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It also has J-None, while on leave from the Navy.
If you think Geoff hit a low in this one, wait till you react to Valhalla Calling.
One of the many reacters said that Eli, during one part of the song, continually hit notes as high as Whitney Houston in "How Will I Know".
Their greats range from a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" to their Little Mermaid Medley to Imagine Dragon's "Warriors" to Aerosmith's "Dream On" to "Seven Nation Army", "If I Were A Rich Man", "White Christmas", "Queen in 5 Minutes", "Boy Bands in 5 Minutes", etc.
Geoff also does awesome solo stuff, like "Big Bad John", "16 Tons", a funny "Blue Christmas".
Two other just as good acapella groups are Pentatonix and Home Free.
Pentatonix: The Prayer, Evolution of Michael Jackson, Bohemian Rhapsody, Hallelujah, Daft Punk Medley, The Grinch, their version of "Let's Get It On" on the Singoff
Home Free: Man of Constant Sorrow, End of the Road, When A Man Loves A Woman, Brother, original song "Full of Cheer", All About That Bass, Helplessly Hoping, Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On
