Train Pace January 28 FEC No. 202

On the way home from the camera shop I see the light is green and decide to try out the new lens at a favorite past time. No the one putting lotion on sunbathing beauties, the train one. Here I situate myself near Bridge Rd in Hobe Sound. Pull into a starting position and clean the windshield and make a quick check of how wide this new lens will gather the scene in from. Looks like I will finally get all the power in frame this day while pacing. Was a struggle with those first shots using the S5, then the 18-55 on the T1i. Then still outside the ride I hear him coming and it's on. I have posted the longer version at my DTrainzz Channel. There have been few train videos these last few months from me and with the new lens I intend to shoot more nature stills and video than trains. However should I find a train's rumblings to hard to resist I will again grab a few moments to share. One final note. I was not keen on Tamron, but no way did I have a Canon WA in the budget. But this lens and the similar Sigma make the Canon kit lens feel and operate like a piece of plastic from a bubble gum machine. Ok one more note. If you consider a wide angle, realize there is a difference between a fisheye wide and this type of wide angle. The lines are more linear on this type. I got this lens from Stuart Photo in Stuart Florida. A full service and fully supplied photo shop.

@YungDroVidz Missed that, but know I would have recorded that for sure. Tonight I also found out I missed an auto show here in town earlier today. Would have liked to see some of those cars.
