Sometimes FC’ing the laterals is the reward, it’s based on people’s skill levels. If you're wondering why 0:52 is like that, it's cause SHUFFLE mod guarantees the section at 1:12 has no crossovers, so they decided to make that earlier section as awkward as possible to keep this chart in the 18 range on all mods

From experience with HDV, I know some of those turn runs get turned into half spins on left/right, however seeing how the chart looks on shuffle would be interesting
those patterns are generally referred to as healing-d-vision crossovers. scoobies are sequences of lateral crossovers that start on the same arrow without giving the player the chance to return to a forward facing position (kind of a bad explanation, but think left-up-right-left-down-right)

If you just need to pass the song, you can treat the section at 518 as triplets:
At 518 do ULD, DLU, ULD, etc
On the other sequence do URD, DRU, etc.
