"this has been my secret..." Lol. In Australia Spinner baits come pre-rigged with paddle tail trailers. Not much of a secret. We all do it down here. The first thing we do is rig a spinner bait with a tail. Thanks for the info though. :)

Check out the Bassman Codman series or the Full Moon troll range of spinner baits for Pre-Rigged Paddle tails. I do not mean to be depreciating either. I just never realised this was not just a given and done thing. Try a wriggler sometime. Dynamite on Perch.
