When transfering the Chiral Crystal's just press left and it automatically goes to the max you need to move.
Just a tip, don't waste too much time trying to build all the roads using Mule trucks like I did. Once you get to south knot city you get blueprints to build your own trucks that hold like 10 times as much as Mule trucks which saves a ton of time transporting all the materials

For those that came here for chemicals, the only place it consistently spawns, is the last mule camp in the game. The most effective way to gain chemicals though, is to claim chemicals in bunces of 240 and 600 at every point in the game , put it in your private locker, let then fill up again, rinse and repeat. (You can also do 1.2k/480/240 special alloys) Then when you got a whole bunch, collect it all with a truck and bring it to mountain knot city or where ever you got alot of ziplines.
Bonus fact, if you see premium orders for the spiritualist, always do them. She gives 1.2k chemical for every few orders you complete at her.

I beat the Story, so now I raid MULE camps to get materials to put into the auto pavers and make roads. Gotta help out others and make their travel easier. Love the team work in this game!

I am some how still building roads in my own game. I have built all the roads down to south lake knot city and now working on mountain knot city. I am a construction worker and part time Amazon delivery guy on the side.

My highways follow the narrative. I build before connecting to the network. I'm a completionist. A lazy completionist but a completionist none the less.
Me to. It was a war also I remember I built like first three roads as soon as I saw a vehicle in that second camp and the amount of likes I got was ridiculous . I remember turning the game second day from the release and I got like 50 000 green likes as soon as I started I was like what the fuck 🤣 My green level up went from like level ten to 50+ or something. The feel was incredible when I realized I had helped so many people.
Spent the start of my holiday work break with a new game every season last ten years? Always bigger games like Death Stranding. Spent last four days working the roads, playing some storylines, and to be honest hooked on making deliveries. Finding the robotassist game changing. Love all-terrain power suit and power gloves.
One piece of advice because I saw a lot of people missed it. Get the collector all the way up. Gives you a great add on to your backpack.

For anyone that doesn’t know, wait for a mule to attack, parry with R2 with the strand equipped, you’ll be put behind them, then it’s just a quick R2 again to bind them up. You don’t have to punch or fight 99% of the time. At least with these mules.
But try not to get overwhelmed since mules can still hit you during the binding animation.
That's right, there's no invincibility frame in this game. Same thing goes with the terrorist.

When you unlock Ziplines it's "Roads... where we're going we don't need roads"
If you park your vehicle right next to the road constructor, you can access its cargo directly!

Kind of makes me wish they had an online mode with Harder Mule bases and Bigger BT's
The fastest way if you're online is to activate the chiral network by doing missions and having them join the UCA 1st in that section, which then adds other players mats to each road post and saves your own grinded mats not having to get all yourself... But yeah immediately after the networks active... The mule camps are the way to go and snatching their truck, and just get them roads quick... At least til zips are available.

I've platinumed death stranding already, most ppl have issues getting Peter Englert to 5 stars or are confused how to progress him, the Pizza dude AKA someone in the story!!! But just do the 3 pizza deliveries in central section progress the story and towards the end after a certain encounter you'll get a email and pizza order you have to deliver from the 1st prepper... Will give remaining stars and Eglerts door will be opened if you do it on the way... Not much for him online yet, mostly confusion, saved the clip of my delivery to him, might post a vid, but got hologram messages ziping all the way not sure if I want spoilers in it!

The reason you can dodge with the rope is so when you dodge you can instantly tie them up
Drive your truck with left tire touching the Mules storage or AutoPaver, then it is closer and you can load or unload to your need without carrying everything on poor Sam. Also, recycle everything in nearby Prepper's shelter so you can take more in your truck. In the case of this video, it is Craftman.

I think we're on the same server? I recognize the generator at the mule camp and some of the bridge placements but we're at different stages of the game. Unsure how the whole system works.
I love your strategy. I did the same thing for pure efficiency. Wait til you get stun grenades and the Bridges truck! The Bridges truck triples in capacity and there's no need to guess when you maxed out the carrying capacity (since there's a light bar at the back of the truck that measures cargo weight). Chuck a stun grenade or two at mule truck to disable it and everyone in the truck. You can gather resources even faster to build more efficiently. Downside are mules are equally as resourceful in taking you out later in the game.

I think everyone was just trying to play the game in the beginning and figuring out the insane amount of game mechanics, process the story, etc. Now that we're all a couple of weeks in, everyone has a wealth of knowledge that we're all trying to share. Just like how the game intended! 😁
I've put the main story on pause and been working on re-building all the roads before going forward. I've only got 1 section left - just need about 3K chiral crystals in the area b/t Mt. Knot and North of Mt. Knot
Yeah those are the hardest ones to build and require a shit ton of materials. Just hope you added those areas to the network so you dont have to spend a lot of materials on that section of road.
@@AndyMillz ugh yeah that was SUCH a grind, easiest way to get them is killing BT's and ofcourse I was at the spot where you don't have BB. 1st thing I did was go to a BT zone and instigate a fight. Did that twice and FINALLY finished all the roads
I was more worried about getting roads built than anything. Once I was done. Then I built the ziplines all over
I had all roads done before Heartman episode finished. Farming materials is just waste of time, just play main story, for bots deliveries choose only materials deliveries, do 5-star every location (every time you get a star at location you also get extra materials there, not only bigger capacity). After few missions and few new stars I was just driving aroung with truck collecting metals and ceramics and either put it in private locker or use it right away.
if you pick up a useless item the MULE drops, you can carry it in your hand and time your hit right, you can one shot K'O the MULE by whacking them with the package lol. I strongly recommend using cheap items like ladders and climbing anchors because it will also destroy the item after 2 or 3 uses

You don't need to unload materials from the truck and take to the auto paver, just park close to it and it will detect the materials in the vehicle.

I'm new to the PS community... Mostly play on XB1x. But bought a PS4-Pro just for Death Stranding.
I might expand out on other games such as Cyberpunk 2077.

@@AndyMillz yeah my wife and I are trying to decide if cyberpunk 2077 should be played on the PlayStation instead of our Xboxes we are definitely going to have to buy more games for the PS4 Pro now that were part of the PS family there is several games out there that is exclusive to PlayStation so since we are now invested into the PlayStation we're going to have to buy more games for it even though death stranding is awesome sadly it's going to have to One Day end we are taking a very long time doing every side quest exploring everything before I move on to the next chapters and episodes but even then eventually it will come to an end as all good things do we will definitely subscribe to your channel and keep a lookout for all tips tricks and other suggestions for more games thank you very much for your channel and being a content creator for RUclips and all things gaming

Thank you for the list I'll start checking into each and every one of them a few of them I know about right now I'm trying to get the best highest graphical games out there to really test out and see what the PlayStation Pro can do so that I can compare it to my Xbox One X because I have a very big choice to make when cyberpunk 2077 comes out that's what system would be better to play it on
a quick tip, play on very hard difficulty, the mules give u 200s of high density S size materials almost every time , which is a lil extra for every time u clear a camp, and the difficulty is actually very lil increased (almost 10 or 15% if you're quite experienced at the game) :)
Hideo Kojima with this and Phantom Pain has mastered the game you just can’t put down! 😂

LOL that’s hilarious, I skip all the cutscenes but when I complete a road, I like to watch that scene cause yes it is fulfilling for some reason
I rob mules and put the stuff in a locker when I’m bored it get a truck and move around with all the stuff and build roads
I found if you skip the cutscene of the road being built then sometimes the road doesn’t get built

we tried peeing on the same place leaving each other cargo and even building stuff where nobody else was

That is a very good questions, I might make a vid on that aspect of the game but from my understanding the players it likes you too are very random and not consistent. I heard of people going to a random remote area and building a structure there and then have each player reload into the game until they both see it then create a strand contract. at the moment thats the only way I know how to like with a friend. LMK if you discover anything else.

I use the autonomous bot delivery to deliver metals while I farm some other materials. the engineer or the craftsman will give some share too i just forgot which one tho

How do you get the bots to deliver Materials?
I saw someone 'boost run' to an enemy/mule and it stagger them. Boost run to hit them, even from close combat, then proceed to punch/kick them.
Thank you for the comment!! I think I've seen that before but that's really used if you don't have any weapons at your disposal. Since I had the Bola and Strand I want to use those first.
Just be careful. You can knock out miles with vehicles but you can drive over and kill them if you aren't paying attention trying to knock out others

I'm having issues after knocking out the mules and taking all the supplies, then I go off to play in other part of the map area and wait too but mules are not respawning and they are still unconscious and if they are conscious, the supplies at the camps are still empty. so I often run out materials to keep my roads in good shape
ummm are the roads not built with the connectivity? like ive noticed it says so and so used your road, likes received. i assumed people can see that youve rebuilt the roads and are using them. ive been trynna rebuild the whole road, but i dont have a lot of materials, so ive been curious why the community hasnt been helping me rebuild the roads too lol.
blueboyV it’s about timing, a lot of people have already built their roads so if you are just now getting to that part then you are less likely to get help from others due to them no contributing. Also matters who you are connected with. A lot of factors go into things like that that’s why I don’t rely on others to do things in my games.
Took me about a week but I rebuilt every road on the map. Lots of work but paid off. I purposely held off beating the game to rebuild first.
Little fact the bridges truck holds a shiiiiit ton more than the mule truck
Hey quick question. Do mule camp materials respawn after a while? Or are they gone for good after you steal em?
I believe they respawn as soon as the miles come back to the area. Not really sure of the timeframe but I feel like it would be able 30 mins of active play time.

It sucks roads durability goes down over time. I've built all roads except the one through the snow. But since the roads are slowly breaking I don't want to build more
You can repair them using very few materials.
Don’t worry, doesn’t take much materials to repair them.
I think its so so hilarious how this game shows how impatient people are. SO many people said press start then skip during a cutscene.. If you would watch the cutscene one time. Just once thats it, then you can press O to skip every time after that. So instead of pressing start then skip you just hit O

Though i ruined my bike right away cause i didnt know where the garage was lol. I am on episode 3 but i feel i left so much behind! Can you make a video explaning how to get weapons and vehicles, and if possible, how do you play the songs while walking around? Why cant i do long jumps? I see others in videos who can and i can't? 1) You unlock more gear through natural progression as well as increasing your relationship stars with the denizens of the world. I think I got guns in Chapter 4 but I don't remember -maybe chapter 5?
2) You can't play songs while walking around unfortunately. Apparently you can't connect Spotify either so I would just hook up music to a speaker nearby and enjoy. You can listen to the soundtrack in game in Sam's private room.
3) You can do double jumps if you don't have a lot of cargo I think.
dljfkf reading this comment hit too close to home. after around 20 hrs of gameplay i finally decided to get the bike and it was a life changer. 10 hours later the bike was destroyed after i bumped into a small rock. i felt so dumb when i found out where the garage was 🙂

hey just fyi your volume out put on your upload is really really too low. Have to set youtube's volume to max and then the computer volume to near max just to make out what your saying...which is a nasy rude awakening when an add pops up at full volume suddenly or another video starts to play. hope you can adjust the volume in future vids, thanks!

They respawn once the MULEs come back i think the cooldown is like 30 min in actual game time. Not 100% but if you figure it out lmk and ill report on it.
Materials at distro centers and preppers don't respawn. They might go up a little with the occasional npc porters but you supply the centers
I've done this, for most camps in the central region. But so far they won't wake up, and I doubt they collect materials even though they're unconscious. Any way to wake them up or something?
after clearing you have to let time pass in-game so that the MULEs will respawn
Yeah that area you're at now is very easy to get the roads going but when you get to the mountainous area that costs go way up and it's impossible to do it

How long do enemies stay knocked out for? I feel like I cleared a zone and 2 days later they're still knocked out on the ground.

I printed the game so im basically playing like it was day 1. I have no help. But I pushing through 💀. I’m on chapter like 6 or 5 . I built like half of the roads and gave up. I didn’t see the benefits tbh

Nah ziplines suck compared to roads for delivering high quantities of stuff
Can anyone here help me with a possible bug with the first prepper in the mountains. Ive delivered almost 15-20 things to him resting in-between each while also doing 40+ other missions for the growth of a legend trophy and he refuses to send a damn email no matter what I try. I've beaten the game, am playing on hard and he's the last npc in the game I have to 5 star and he's sitting at almost 4k likes because he won't send an email. I've taken his mule camp delivery, his lost cargo delivery right beside him in the mountain, deliveries to him from timefall farms, the doctor, the waystation north of mountain knot, the Craftsman, and the distro center south of lake knot. If anyone has any idea how to get this stupid npc unstuck or send an email please let me know. Thanks

5:52, why did you punch him out and not just bind him? Once you parry, R2 again is an instant wrap up and take down you don’t need to fight at all.
Haha Thank you Nathan, at the time i was not aware of the wrap up after the parry using the strand. I am aware now but at the time the punch out results in the same incapacitated state that the parry and bind do.

My bad. I don’t normally have sound on when watching gaming videos not to wake up my wife so I miss details that are explain verbally!! Sorry. Keep up the good content.
A reminder, try not to completely block off the structure entrance with your vehicle (like truck).
Everytime you complete a delivery, the game will autosave your world. This world will then be share with other players. So if the game save while your truck is in front of the structure, it will appear that way in other people world.
This will be a problem in snowy area since vehicle will degrade faster there. Once it is degrade, it is hard for other people to move it.
Tip for handling mules which block melee shots, just hold R2 and L2 together, face the direction of the mule and press square. This makes sam do a short bash attack with his shoulders. Breaking anyone having their guard up.

I used to seek out the mule trucks, as all I had was the “long range bike” available, so imagine my surprise seeing how much MULE trucks hold ..so used those for awhile until the game gave me the regular trucks you can craft 😂 imagine how juiced I was then, those mofos hold like 10x as much

Kojima is an absolute genius. I will always have a special fondness in my heart for the Silent Hill franchise, but Death Stranding is an undeniably brilliant game.
Sadly, the truest horror regarding Death Stranding's atmospheric world is the overwhelming tide of gamers who did not appreciate the endeavor; choosing to flounder from one predictable "battle-royale" game to the next.
Given the ominous apocalyptic tone of Death Stranding's lonely world; I feel like Kojima was addressing that tragic disparity in the gaming community through the meticulous development of the game itself.
I'm often impressed whenever I stumble across a content-creator whose creativity was clearly motivated by the inspiring effort of Kojima's talented team of developers.

i surprisingly didn't realise you could steal their trucks haha im debaiting taking a break from the story for a few days and start building the roads. 1:24 alone would be a life saver over that terrain
Once you use the strand to parry you can just one shot choke them instead of punching. Also if you use the Bola gun and shoot them in the head they will be knocked out immediately.
Also you can know everyone is knocked out because the music changes.

After restarting the game a few times i noticed that some online players loved to contribute to building and maintaining roads so much though that it was fun to see who got to complete each road section while other times some players were too stingy to either contribute or they had no skills with playing the game. One trick I did early on in the game was right after I got the bola gun i went to the mule area just south of the craftsman. Whike keeping a low stance and using the terrain and cover I'd round them all up and philfer their camp taking their trucks which I'd stire extra mule trucks inside the terminals. Make sure that you make enough deliveries so that you'll get orders at North lake consisting of ceramics.
Just park the truck on the stairs with one wheel. You will not have to carry shit

Thanks! I saw how the roads system was going to be useful. This video proved my point that the time and material spent on the roads will pay off at the middle and the end.
But you can park the car beside the Pave station...and you can add Materials straight from the car....Not carrying them
yes you can do that. i show that off in another video.
So when I log in later I should see completed roads and I wouldn't need to do anything. I help build structures or add materials to speed up process

Recommend kicking them after they are down. If they have 2 o's abv them, they will get bk up . If have + mark abv them, they are out good. Can whack mules with cargo they drop. Catch cargo before it hits the ground for fast take down
