- While I was on vacation I was thinking of all these ideas for Power Apps, and one particular area I know I'm very strong in is Project Management. So I thought ok let's create an entire project management dashboard to monitor projects using Power Apps and SharePoint. There are going to multiple parts to this Power Apps and we're going to build it out entirely! Like and Subscribe to see the final product!

Newly subscribed! Your videos are very detailed and still not too long. This video is helping me create my own gallery for work. Thankyou :). Would appreciate more such content on Power Apps. Your explanation is simple and easy to follow.
Thank you Smriti! More to come 😀
New subscriber here!
I just saw your video on how you gather requirements when developing powerapps and surprisingly you have created this project dashboard that is related to the that video!
i hope you continue to share this kind of tutorials here in youtube specially the alignment of your project management background in creating apps.
Im now currently making an app that captures requirements/use stories!
Thank you Andrew!
Awesome Ruben! Glad you're finding the content beneficial. I'm going to try to focus more on that project management app for the next few videos! Let me know if you have any more ideas.
Excellent, Thanks!
Thank you too pawan!
Great stuff Andrew!
Thanks for watching Rick!
really helpful video and nice explication you´re awesome! THANKS
Thanks so much Cristobal! Great to know these videos are helping so many! Thanks! Feel free to drop comments for any questions or ideas for new videos!
Good stuff. I think I need to use containers more often. Thanks!
Thanks for your support Darren, love your channel more and more! Everyone should check out PowerApps Tutorial channel if you see this comment :)
great one!
Thank ya freya huang!
Thank you Andrew.
Thanks for your continual support udeagha
@@andrewhess123 You are welcome.
Do you know how to add a person or group data from a Sharepoint List into a gallery as a label?
Thanks for the tutorial.
I've hit two issues (I discovered the first one second)
1. My Normal projects form isn't creating list items in the content type. it's workign with my software projects but anything I submit from the edit form in the app as a "normal project" gets created as an item.
2. for some reason the app can't find...nope that one just needed a data source refresh - just stuck on question 1.
Thanks for the video
Do you prefer regular for,s or patch forms❓
It depends on the time constraint. If I have a short form that I just need to create quickly then just a regular submit form. But If I have more time available and I want to make something look great, then Patch.
Hi Andrew!, how did yo do to select ContentType as a "Value Column" because i have it like a "Only read" column and i can´t use it in my Gallery , Thanks! :D
Hi Cristobal, Thanks for watching, this video actually starts from a few previous videos. I believe the part where I add the Content Types to Power Apps is here: ruclips.net/video/sQMMKb0UQT4/видео.html
There is also another video before that one when I create the content types in SharePoint. Hope this helps!
great walkthrough. curser too small, gets lost white on white, eg 9:56 (but nearly infinite examples)
Thanks yeah, I''ve been getting better this is an older video. Thanks for watching though Joe!
Hey Andrew, I just came across your videos and have to say, you have done an outstanding work, appreciate for that!! I just have one question, my code (Concurrent..) is giving me an error and even I've followed all the steps you have taken, also I've noticed that you have added "CTitle" would you please explain a bit how that is relevant to this code? Thanks a bunch!!
Hi Ryan, Let's see, so CT title is just a column in the Collection that I gave the name for, "Red", "Yellow", "Green". I think I just did it as "Chart Title", for CTitle. I was going to see if I could bring that out in the chart, but at this point in time (during this video) there was no easy way to show a column title in a Chart, without some more magic.
What is the error you are getting?
@@andrewhess123 - I appreciate your kind answer and it make sense. Actually, it worked out, because I had an issue in Status column in SharePoint, once I've updated; error went away, I appreciate your fast reply. And, your videos are very informative. Thank you!!
@@RyanSmith-mh1lj Wooo Nice!! Good work!
Thank you so much for this, Andrew
I lost you at 20:07, when you added GreenNum 8 the Num. Did you create the collection before or the string ought to create it.
I’m self learning, so forgive me if I’m not using the tech terms 😂
Hi solo, so GreenNum is the name of collection, at that point I believe that is the creation of that collection.
sorry for the late reply!
@@andrewhess123 Thank you so much. I've been quite busy myself.
I get it now, but it appears that my Collection is not being created
ForAll(Filter('Customer Engagement Tickets',Status.Value="Closed"),Collect(ClosedNumber,(Number:TicketStatusNumber)))
Those areas appear as invalid arguments at ClosedNumber and Number
The dashboard is the last thing I need to do to close out on the app but I feel so stuck 😥
Hi. Could you please share the formula?
can you explain why did you change the code after you put in first concurrent. CTitle:"Green". I lost you there.
At which time in the video are you talking about, I think it is to overcome the delegation issues. Sum is not a delegable function but ForAll is. If you can show me at which time you were lost in the video I can help explain more 😀
I am good. I figured it out. Thank you.
Can you show how you can name your pie chart data
frmregular is not working
Did you name your form something different? This is just the name that I gave my Form.
In this video we create the forms: ruclips.net/video/sQMMKb0UQT4/видео.html&t also the link is in the description of the video.
Dear, your resolution is too high. Makes the letters of the codes illegible. I suggest lowering the resolution or zooming in on the code when typing. I've been trying to guess your code for three hours. Could you please improve?
Agreed Marcos, This is an older video and my video editing skills have improved drastically over the last year. I am actually working on recreating this type of Power App in Dataverse for Teams (no premium licenses) on new videos. Feel free to check out my new videos if you'd like... to see if you can see the code better.
Also, feel free to let me know which formulas you want to see. I can probably get you the code and put it right in a comment for you. Do you have a timestamp? 😃
