Jon. Any way you could do a video on "routing" (non 5.1) using groups, busses, sub mix, pre master, master etc (and stems). There is nothing out there particularly for orchestral/film audio. Thanks for all you do. You really are the best for pro tools for those of us who want to get into the industry.

How to do change the tempo of the song half way through the song? Example Bars 1 - 40 is at 162 bps, then at Bar 41 I want the tempo at 185 bps.

First of all, thanks for checking my videos!! Good question and this a great topic for a video... I'll add it to my "videos to create" list. The short answer is to add a tempo change at the location you want. In Pro Tools go to the View menu/Rulers/Tempo to show the tempo ruler if it's not already visible. Control click (Mac) and it might be Control on Windows too... in the Tempo ruler at the location where you want the tempo change. You should get the the Temp Change window where you can type in the new tempo.
This explanation is overly summarized and may or may not work for your example. There are other ways to do this in Pro Tools and you also need to watch out for existing audio and/or MIDI in the session. If audio already exists in the session and you want the audio to change tempo along with your tempo changes. You need to make sure that each audio track is set to "Tick" mode as opposed to Sample mode before you make the tempo changes.
I'll try to create a video that shows all of this as soon as I can...

Hello man. Please is there a way to have a midi track that is not affected for tempo changing and other midi tracks as usual , in the same project? Thanks so much in advance?

Yes, set the track to sample mode as opposed to tick mode. This is a tiny button on each track in the Pro Tools Edit window near the Solo, mute, etc buttons.
