Thank you so much. I am new to beading and I have been losing my mind trying to put the cover on with chain nose pliers. Well what a difference using the crimper. So easy to hold, close and shape too. Fantastic idea.
Great video short n sweet. What is the most popular size of crimp bead? I want to cover my knots on elastic bracelets. I also use crimp tubes when using a clasp. The crimp covers i bought are so small hard to get over my knots. Please any suggestions?
Hi. You'd want to use a crimp cover that is at least one millimeter larger than your crimp bead. For instance, if you're using a two millimeter crimp bead, you'd want to use at least a three millimeter crimp cover.
Hi , I bought many times Gold plated Clasp and beads and in less than a year those are losing the color 😪Is there any kind gold Clasp or bead never lose the color ?
They can be in some instances. For example, they work great for covering knots, and so long as they fit snug over the material you're working with, they will stay in place if secured properly. I hope that answers your question Olga 🙂

@zippy7628, Hi, Your answer has been very helpful. I was looking as well for a tutorial explaining how to determine the crimp cover size and I came across your comment. What I'm not sure, is, if I use a 4mm crimp cover and my crimp bead is 2mm, would the crimp cover be loose? I think I have to give it a try 😊

Hello, I personally use crimp covers that are about 5mm, but this will depend on how big the other beads are in comparison.
My crimp bead covers are always smaller so the crimp sticks out. Any tips on how to fix this? Thanks! Great video
