I have looked at multiple videos and just couldn't figure out the right way to do this until I watched your video. I have found oftentimes videos that are made by artists and not by someone affiliated with the company selling the products give the best instructions. I know this is several years old, but I wanted to let you know that you really helped me. Thank you. 🙂
Thanks for letting me know. I’m so glad that you found it helpful! 😊
I have had some of these, not knowing just what to do with them. Thank you so much. By the way this video is still helping people as we progress into 2022.
Thanks for letting me know you found the video helpful, Mitchel. 🙂 Happy creating!
Thank you so much! I'm making my own jewelry for the first time and I bought cord that was far too thick for the crimp beads I bought. This video saved me a lot of trouble!!
You are very welcome! So glad to have been of help. 🙂
It's a rainy day in Georgia as the song says, so I am looking at old videos and I ran across this one. I love the way you store your cords. If you don't mind, I will store my cords the same way. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you found it helpful, Annie! Happy creating 😀
Thank you!! That's just what I needed to finish my jewelry! 🙂🙂🌸❤
Oh, hooray, so happy to have been of help. 🙂
Thanks, this was very helpful. I have a bunch of these from the Fire Mountain Gems grab bags and was never sure how to use them.
Cool! It was in a FMG grab bag I discovered a whole bunch of findings I didn't know existed.
Simple instructions and easy to follow
Thanks!
All of your videos are very helpful, Thank you. Best wishes for the New Year.
Thank you, Karen, I'm so glad to hear that!
fabulous, thanks - now I know what to do with my ends! x
Hope it was helpful!
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome! ☺️
Thanks Sandy! Happy New Year!
Great info. I was trying to figure out how to use these and how to match up cording size with cap size. I guess it's not exactly straightforward, lol.
Hope you found it helpful! If you have the cord and finding both in hand, it's easy enough to find what fits. But if you're trying to buy it online, not so much. Some sites will give helpful info, like inside diameter, but not all are accurate.
I use the little tiny ones, and I really like them. I use a little glue before crimping, just to make sure...
Amazing idea! What kind of glue would you recommend?
Best wishes for the New Year.
finally, some good information, thank you
You are very welcome. Happy creating! 😀
It’s a proper 100% evergreen tutorial. Hi from 2025! ❤
🙂 Thanks!
I think I have some of these findings in my stash from years ago, but I wasn't really sure how to use them. Thanks for this great tutorial!
So glad you found it helpful! Happy creating
Thanks Sandy; happy New Year
Thanks for sharing. Always good to add creative ideas to my library.
Sandy, thank you for this video. Can you please tell me what size crimp ends to buy for 2mm cord? Or, better yet, if you have a link to a product that will work w/ 2mm cord, that would be even better. It's not clear when I look at the product pages. Thanks!
One thing that is helpful is to be sure the interior measurement of your finding is at least or maybe a little more than the size of your cord. They usually have an EM and an IM.
Thanks, Donna! 👍
Where do you get those crimps from?
You can get crimps at any craft store, like Michaels or Hobby Lobby. You can also get them online, at Amazon, for example amzn.to/3WYuTpq
I have tried to find these in the uk but I don't really know what i'm supposed to be searching for? Crimp ends just comes up with all the usual suspects and non of then have the middle band for crimping. Do they have a more specific name?
Any link where to buy those crimp ends?
Yup, in the description box.
Thank you Sandy , always good to know . Happy New Year 🍾🍫🍭🍷❄☃️🎄😗!
Thank you for this vid. Very helpful!
hi, do you know where i can buy these beautiful crimp ends, on line? I am living in Holland, in Europa
Where did you get the "hook clasp" shown at 4:39 in the video? It looks more like a buckle. Thanks.
