A little over a year later and this guide was still excellent. I did use a more recent source to get my keys, but knowing what to do with them, where to add games, and showing that using an XCI file just works was perfect. A short, sweet, and to the point video. Thanks man.

@@jxncel Google hasn't helped and a lot if sites have a ton of ads and viruses. The only site I've had luck in is romspedia but the few available games are blah. I downloaded Kirby on Monday and it worked
@@jxncelfitgirl-repacks DOT site . Up top drop down, All my Repacks and in there is Switch emulated repacks. I'm sure there are other places but this is the one I use.

Great guide. I will add that if you don't have your xbox controller connected or plugged in, you will not be able to set it as the input device. This seems obvious now but initially I had thought this was a preset through yuzu, like how the gamecube controller was already loaded, but I dont have one connected.

I am amazed at how smooth emulation of the Nintendo Switch is now.
Important note. When the link for keys is shown. The letter after the second / is a lower case L, not an upper case i like I thought lol

i dunno why no one mentions this but if your on windows 10 or 11 and use HDR. going into full screen disables windows HDR and colors and contrast all looks messed up. there is a work around for this.
just dont use hdr man, minimum differences
Don't use HDR when content isnt meant for it. No switch games have HDR to this point, so dont enable it on PC for it. Takes 3 seconds to disable it on windows settings by typing in HDR
Hdr is dogshit you should always have it disabled

I have an Nvidia card (980 Ti) and the Vulkan backend actually runs better than OpenGL for me. For example, I get a long stutter at the start of the Intro to Super Mario Odyssey but it's only a split second with Vulkan. Framerate also seems smoother. Perhaps it was a change in Yuzu as I'm using a newer version than the one featured in this video as much would have changed in 9 months.
