    After watching John Oliver's episode on the difference between "FDA approved" and "FDA cleared," I'd check into the safety of this product a little more. According to him, "cleared" requires no testing, and it uses previous patents that are similar. Just fyi!

    I would love to win one of these for my mom. She's been steadily losing her hair as a side effect from medications she has to take and it really affects her self-esteem. If one of these systems worked for her, that would be amazing. Definitely entering.

      As women get older it's common for us to lose hair...even if you're non-binary
      Anyways, I've got monotops that blends beautifully...people compliment my hair and I'll be honest with them to know it's a monotop because I have a permanent hot flash and can't do a full wig.

      @@rebelista19 I first got my first one at a wig shop in North Hollywood. After my first piece I stick to the designer that I originally went with. And online are some good deals. One thing that was helpful going to a wig shop is being able to try on and figure one that works for you. I am constantly hot so I can't do a full wig cap I feel like I'm suffocating hence why the montop works awesome. And also learned human hair wigs aren't worth it being the upkeep of in addition you gotta worry about the frizzs. I got a heat synthetic one so if I chose to do curls I can do it and I don't have to worry about frizz. I like Jean Renau.

    Hi Cassie, I'm assuming you experienced hairloss which motivated you to try iRestore.
    You should look into the shampoo and conditioner that you are using, it may be contributing to your hairloss and potentially slowing your progress with iRestore, just something i suggest that you looked into.
    Let me share my personal experience. At one point my scalp was itchy, oily, irritated with breakouts, hair lengths were dry and lots of hairloss during washes (these are not broken hair). I tried many drugstore haircare, nothing helped which forced me to invest in a professional haircare line that soothe and nourish my scalp. That was all i did to reverse all the issues i had. i concluded that the drugstore brands i used have ingredients that irritates the hell out of my scalp, causing a myriad of problems that left me quite demoralised.
    Hope my story can help others experiencing the same issues.

    However, I don't understand why the light turns off and on. You'd think that the longer the light was on, the more effective it would be (?)

    • @DocfayeZA
      @DocfayeZA 5 лет назад

      It's still a laser though. Even though its lower strength, the longer it stays on could damage the follicle. Pulsing allows for frequent, but non damaging stimulation to the follicle. At least that's what makes sense to me.

      There's definitely a difference and granted, it's not thick hair growth. But for someone who, one could see through to her scalp quite easily before and now not so much, makes a huge difference to self confidence. The system seems to have worked for her albeit slowly. Whether it's worth the money? I would definitely try cheaper methods first ;castor oil being the cheapest. I would also try a dermaroller. Also to exclude medical conditions and look at medications like contraceptives. If it's genetic, then nothing may help. 😒

    • @caty2ful
      @caty2ful 5 лет назад +2

      @@DocfayeZA I literally don´t see it, paying this much for this, I definitely would feel robbed, when you have thin hair, washing it with volumizing shampoo makes a cosmetic difference, and she´s using a different shampoo now, but paying such a huge price for this I would feel very scammed. There is absolute no difference in the amount of density after laser.

    Yes! You look so great! And what’s even better is that your smile- a genuine smile- and your confidence is returning. Amazing! Your video has impeccable timing... I was all excited today to find a spray that really does work to conceal my scalp... but... Urgh. I don’t want to have to spray my head everyday! I’m definitely going to look into this. And enter. It’s a little pricy for this single mom... but it would be worth saving up for it! Thank you for posting this! And keep smiling ❤️

    Okay so here is your 1 year review, just found that you posted it. Anyway, your hair does not look much thicker than what it was. I’m not sure it’s really helping.

    Wow those before and after pics! So amazing! Your hair looks incredible. You have so much more volume! I had been noticing your hair change and i had no clue what it was well now I know what you've been doing it's so incredible how far technology has come! I was blessed with thick hair but it's nice to see that there are options for people who need them.
