Thanks for the in-depth explanation you Angel! It's funny how my childhood trauma has been replaying in my mind this past week nonstop. Now I understand that it was coming up so I can heal and go the other direction by empowering myself. Thanks for this! I wonder how man people have had this same experience. This shift is powerful I can feel it.
Oh my gosh, today I was crying to my husband and in therapy that this is not how I imagined my life - feeling trapped in this career, beaten down by corporate. That when I was a girl I imagined something very different. I’m currently pregnant with my second child and am feeling like this career and being the mom I want to be are just clashing so hard. But I feel like my value is performing and providing. My parents were so dysfunctional (my trauma was around age 6 with them), that I needed to parent them and I needed to learn how the world worked by myself. I needed to be “successful” and make tons of money to not be like them and to get away. When you talked about connecting back to your 7 year old inner boy, omgosh my whole body relaxed. I am totally this scared 6 year old girl and that’s where all of this emotion is coming from. And I’m scared when leaders at work are critical of me (it’s rare but it’s happening in the past few days with this full moon and felt explosive again today) and I take it to affect my value and I feel like I’m failing, and it’s depressing and such a hopeless feeling. I now understand what’s going on and can choose differently! How empowering to choose not to be afraid and show up differently.
Thank you for this. I've been on a journey to help heal my inner child, and integrate my now with her. It's been a long journey, but she is healing, I am healing.
It's like an instant reset from your "inner parents perspective"....we are learning to rewrite our story from the past into a new reality into the future...minus the weight of all the shame, guilt & fear... it's so amazing to live it and see a " new ME" every day 💗🙏🦋

The fear. I now the moment it happend. I was the innocent fairy dancing in the room. And now at the age of 46 , this free space opens in my life. It is exactly this freedom, this joy, this innocence that was wronged. To be in fear of all the good stuff. OK, so this is actually crazy because I’ve had an abrupt change happen and I became quite emotional, and then I realize the underlying feeling I’ve had for so long in my life, feeling like I’m a victim and like I don’t matter…. I realize this, And just like you’re speaking of, I was able to realize I no longer have to function from this version of me… And then I’m able to experience this change without making myself wrong or the problem.
