Y’all did so good on this. I did this trail when I was 13 and half way through called my dad crying asking to send a helicopter to save me because I couldn’t do it 😅 I did finish it but passed out immediately once I got in the car lol.

I totally get it! My legs were cramping up about mile 19. Was an epic ride but wasn’t all downhill for sure.

That looks so damn fun Joshua. I'm heading up to Winter Park for two weeks this coming Sunday. I tried reaching out to Zach but I had not heard back. If you know anybody else that might be willing to tag along with me I'd be appreciative or even if you, by any chance, might be in the area. I've watched this video five or six times and still enjoy it all the way through. Thanks for sharing and giving us great bucket list ideas.

Sorry for the late reply. I don’t really know anyone else out that way that you could reach out to. Hopefully you got a chance to ride it though. It’s pretty epic.

Looks great-how long did it take?

Ha! Well, we took a diverging route by Lake Moraine all the way to Jacks. It was roughly 28 miles total and we stopped a lot so I would say probably around 4 hours.

What a ride man, so you shuttled this? One vehicle to the top and one at the bottom? I have heard you can do it as well from a gondola lift or chair lift off Pikes peak. Great vid!

My wife shuttled me to the top where I met two local rippers who let me tag along. We rode back into town afterward. Not sure about the gondola though. If you ever get the chance you gotta check it out. Probably the gnarliest ride I’ve done so far.

@@trailstokemtb Yeah I've been wanting to do this and post this ride on my channel. Now that I got the Ripmo 2, I think I'll do it.
Check out Trail Peek, I was probably wrong on the gondola statement. I'm thinking of another trail. Check out Trail Peek, they rode it from "Barr trail" at the top of 14,000 ft. to Manitou springs.

Great content on your channel, check me out if you wish. Ride on...

Yeah they rode Barr all the way down. It’s only about 8-9 miles with TONS of hikers. We started on Elk Park at the top (zero people), cut through about 1/3 mile of Barr, hopped on Lake Moraine, and ended up at Jones Park. All in all it was around 28 miles. My route is on my Strava. Also, I checked out your stuff. Good content man!

@@trailstokemtb Thanks for looking! Also, thanks for giving me the trails you took to end up at Jones Park. Seems to be more fun route because there is less hikers and its much longer of a ride. I'm sure you were spent after 28 miles.

That’s putting it lightly! I was cramping up for the first time after that ride. We ended up at the local brewery and I could barely drink my beer. I would do it all over again though.
