The Tabla dish she had in this episode looked tasty; after looking it up, I was sad to see the featured chef, Floyd Cardoz, passed away in 2020 due to Covid-19. Rest in peace and this feature is a lovely part of his legacy. I’m happy to see Brooklyn Ice Cream Company is still open and will put it on the list to visit.
I lived in Brooklyn Heights in the early 2000s. Whenever people would come to visit we would walk down to that shop in the evening for ice cream. Good times.

I just looked up the Ice Cream Company. The cup she paid 1.50 is now $8
