Thanks for posting again- your channel awesome man. My theatre is damn near a mirror image of yours- and the seating you described is close to mine. Row of 4 in the front (have a love seat in the middle). I built a 9” riser and a cheap bed frame from staples and threw a king size bed up there. We call it the nest! Lots of people can fit up there with bowls of popcorn and lay down if wanted- had some angled wall backrest cushions made. Worked great- but I don’t think those captivators will allow that lol I wish I had those. Love the velvet on the walls- damn impossible to find in Canada at a decent price.

Awesome work! I have been enjoying the series. I picked up the JTR Captivator 4000ULF-LP a month ago and it is something special. Impacts catch you off guard and provide that nice shockwave of energy during impact scenes...even in animated Pixar flicks. I only have one so I am sure you’ll love it. Check with your insurance company if they sell addition coverage for structural damage...lol. I never thought I would worry about damaging my house until I got these. Keep up the great work, love the videos!

That’s a great idea. My room the ceiling is 7’2. Hopefully you do a video when you’re done. I might steal your idea 👍

If you end up going with 3 I might have to get a ticket to NY to check this bad boy out. Sounds like a killer setup Jon. Can't wait to see the final product and hear what you have to say about the JTR's.

the riser is framed for 3, i just want to see what a pair are capable of before spending another 3500. i don't have the seating yet but the project is moving along: imgur.com/wI4VaCv

nice to see a video from you again :D also its interesting that in the US you don't seem to use a lot of hollow core slabs for ceiling/floor between the basements and the main level so that you would not have any beams intruding into the lower floor :/

should be an interesting projector and looks good but i still don't know if its blacks will look as good as the epson's he's looking at doesn't seem like a home theater projector at that price. But still jvc is king soooooo maybe fingers crossed.

Have you measured your speakers (sub) response in your room? If not you should. If those 3 Rythmiks subs behind you were not cutting it, you may have some serious nulls based on where you put your subs.

the output from the (3) fv25's was the most powerful bass i've ever felt, and most of the time i was happy with their performance. if nothing else i've always wondered what i've been missing out on with the jtr subs, and now i'll finally find out. (2) cap 4000's will have substantially more output than the trio of rythmik's, but it's the violent tactile energy i'm looking forward to the most.
