- The Texas Rangers are promoting their top prospect former first round pick out of Vanderbilt Kumar Rocker to make his MLB debut on Thursday against the Seattle Mariners. Rocker has obliterated minor league hitters since returning from elbow surgery this season and shown why he has the upside of a top of the rotation starting pitcher.

Next year looks promising for the rotation. The bullpen needs to be fixed and the hitters will need to hit. The Mariners have shown how far you can go with superb pitching but no hitting. Not very far.
The entire rotation is unproven, nothing to get excited about.
