They are excellent swimmers. I had one over 20 yrs ago as a pet. I was more of a foster mom, but he was great with my dog and cat and my kids. It's a shame it's come to this. I hear they are great eating too.
I was watching an old episode of Anthony Bourdain last night. He was in Guatemala. He was eating in a small restaurant, and they were eating swinging steaks and iguana. I can't imagine eating those ugly looking lizards. I guess if you skin them and prepare them correctly, they are not too bad.
hello miss jessica ....... you need to go to lowes or walmart and get you one of those foldable wagons so you can pull it with you and fill it full of dead iggies that way you dont have to worry about picking them all up and carrying them on the way back to the truck !!!!
Just curious why you don't use shooting stix or at least a monopod. As popular as you are I'm sure some maker would sponsor you on that. Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

One with my thumb pointing upwards and the other one when I punched that icon .I know how important it is for people to punch that thumbs up image icon or whatever. It helps determine your pay from RUclips!!!!!!..... It doesn't cost anybody anything that's watching your video does it..... I'm trying to think of what movie star you remind me of......... If I can't find who she is........ I'll just say that you remind me of you the RUclips movie star lady that is actually doing something for society getting rid of these nasty little rascals that are just destroying Farmer's crops in Florida..... They think that there was 2500 iguanas in the brush around this guy's farm and it destroyed all his freshly planted corn... His freshly planted corn seed.... Overnight his whole field look like it had been rototilled. The problem is way worse than its being portrayed. So now we're going to show you what it's like to have a few friends...... Let me rephrase that.... To have lots of friends supporting you......... LET'S GET IT !!!!!!!!
Sorry for my ignorance, but iguana is obviously a threat in your community and you can just pull a gun out and shoot them. ?It’s pretty crazy. I’m from Australia.
Its a pellet gun. Cops would come if it was a firearm. Also, I was called to work there. I am marked with a shirt that says "iguana removal" and it is well known that people shoot iguanas here in south florida. It is on the news often
They call them chicken of the trees, most reptiles Im told taste like chicken, I’ve eaten rattle snake and it tasted kinda like chicken just different texture. I think a more accurate description is that they are neutral flavored or not gamey but that is a guess
I would think traps would be the way to go when you have that many little ones running around. But, they sure test your shooting skill’s. Another great video Jessica.😘
