i have an octavia 2 1.4 mpi 2007 and the clocks doesnt work...they are down....the BC is working fine.....the battery is....so so because i am using the car very little in winter...any idea?
@@senty1568 The first thing that comes to mind is a flat battery since you use it very little and it's winter (if I understood well) The other thing is a bad battery clamp (loose, dirty, or corroded) so if the battery is OK, check them. If everything is dead, it's worth the check.
Hi and thanks for watching! Try checking the rear wiper and front wiper fuses (I think it's 39 and 41 but check again in the manual). If I'm not mistaken, the fuse for the airbags is not stated anywhere in the manual or the little map on the fuse box lid but is perhaps integrated with another circuit. Worth checking are the fuses under the plastic lid above the battery. Hope this helps
On my skoda fabia mk2 back park lamp ( left one is not working ) I have changed the bulp but its still not working .this case with fuse nr i have on the schedule i have to check ? Thanks in advance
Put the tester on the end of fuse not in the middle that will broke the fuse if you apply some force or you get contact with one of the end of broken fuse. The proper way is to put it on the hole of the each end of the fuse if both works that means if the fuse ok. I both not works means you have to turn key (is related to have power on the car some relay do that). If 1 end works (have light) and the other not = fuse need to be replace
@@williambostock3732 hope this helps, I would first check for a short circuit and also the ground connections (the bulb holders would be the first pace to look at). I would also check that the light bulbs are OK (are they the right type and are they faulty). There are other things but this would be first.
I have the same car model but its a mark II i think. 2009. The center display keeps dying on mine. Every time i wipe the dust off the display goes out. I can fix it by disconnecting the battery for a while and after connecting it again the display comes back. This is offcourse a pain in the ass that every time i want to wipe some dust off i have to do that. Any idea what the issue could be here ? Probably not a fuse because it comes back after disconnecting the battery. If it was a popped fuse it would stay dead i think ? Any advice. I searched the web and am not the only one with this problem, that where i learned the trick with the battery from but i am hoping to fix cause of the problem and not the symptom. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hello and thanks for watching! Sorry but I don't understand Hungarian but what from Google translate told me: the fuse box is on the driver's side. Once you open the front driver's door take a look at the lateral side of the dashboard. You'll find a plastic lid that has two small slits for inserting a screwdriver or trim tool. Insert, lift and the plastic lid will come off. Behind it are the fuses. I hope this helps at least a little bit. Best regards to you!

Hi and thanks for watching! There could be a couple of things, if I was in your place, I'd start with the button panel in the driver's door. Take it out, check if there's electric input to and from it and start from there. Hope this helps.

Hi Vincent! I don't know if I understood your question correctly nor do I know which car you're talking about but I'll give it a try: -on most covers of the fuse box is a map of the fuse layout (often imprinted on the inner side of the plastic cover). Just watch how you turn the cover so it's in the right direction. When you compare it to the fuse box, you should be able to find the fuse. -try looking at the owners manual, they have fuse box maps in them. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
