For roughly the last 20 years of their career, Rush played three hour sets -- no headliner. So, yes, they had a lot of material to play. I'm fortunate to have seen them three times -- I only got into them in 2005.
As much as people don't want to admit it, I think Alex is the main catalyst of creation when it comes to their songwriting. A LOT of inspiration came from Alex just warming up or improvising. Geddy would say, "Hey, What was that riff" and Alex would go "What Riff?"😁I will never tire of Rush, And I've been listening to them since 1976... RIP Professor...
Great song! One of my faves.
❤❤❤
Everything from that show is epic. Think about how fast they developed from that first album to this, 7 short years, sick.
I always hear that Rush is considered a Prog band and even Kings of Prog but, I think Rush is their own genre combined with everyone who were influenced by them and cover bands.
Who can tick all the boxes that Rush fills?
Quntessential Rush
And that 'ending', which you just catch, is actually the start of Xanadu, which I believe you've already done. They go straight into it.
Every Rush fan yells collectively “Wait! There’s more…!”
@@kben036 - 🤣 It's funny because it's true! 😂
Neil's Nickname is the PROFESSOR. and he looks exactly like the PROFESSOR on GILLIGAN'S ISLAND in this concert.
At one point, Neil would ride his bicycle between concerts. He was in incredible shape. He filled out when he quit riding his bicycle and started riding a motorcycle between concerts.
Peace to ya man Love me some Rush
you need to do all of the ‘Exit Stage Left’ vid tbh
oooooh they were about to go into Xanadu...
I believe I have every cd they have put out. Great music 🤘🏼🎶
There is unrest in the forest
Trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas
The trouble with the maples
(And they're quite convinced they're right)
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade
There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream, "Oppression"
And the oaks just shake their heads
So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
They say, "The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light"
Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet, axe, and saw
Thank You For That. The Lyrics Apply Now More Than They Did Then...
Fantastic Canadian rock band, rock music bands in the 70's 80's or 90's etc, from my personal point of view are the best and why do not react to an excellent British band .
DEEP PURPLE - Child in Time Live (1970 - ) Reaction, thanks Rory🤘🎸 take care☕
Hey, Rory. Just watched tou react to Headling Flight.... What a song, everything, that hard tone guitar, jumping base lines, and the beast blowing everybody's mind with his unmatched drumming. Huge suggestion to react to....Vital Signs from Moving Pictures album. Got to have the lyrics.....

Rush toured with Rory Gallagher...
In 1981, I was 20 years old at the time this album came out. I was 6'2 and 190 pounds. Now, at age 63, I'm still 6'2, but i weigh 280😁Actually health wise, I've been pretty lucky, considering...
Bytor and the Snow Dog same concert
If you see how thinNeil was from Farewell to Kings up to early 1980's......Rush did dabble with cocaine late 70's early 80's as they did admit to keep up with schedule demands....but like many of us was experimental and faded with age and time away from touring.
Alex learnt pinch harmonics from Rory when they supported him and they returned the favour later
Do ByTor and the Snowdog from Exit Stage Left. Your welcome. ha
