The video shows all these individuals living supposedly a fulfilling, respectable life but behind the scenes they are doing things that society find unacceptable. E.g. sweet christian girl that does cam shows, Kdot playing a cancer patient on the brink of death but then watching strippers, a mother putting her child to bed and then working as a dominatrix. The song saying "I need tints" is talking from the perspective of these people who need to shield society from what they actually do. The vid ends with Paak telling the girl that she's not ready for this unmasked world.

I think it’s more complex than that. Like I think there’s lies and illusions but also shields and barriers people put up. I think it shows how some use tints as an extension of who they truly are. While I also think the judgement from society forces people to hide things like problems with addiction at the end. Like an unmasked world like the girl wants might seem ideal on paper but isn’t feasible potentially. Idk just my thoughts.
