Best anti-virus
There is no “best” anti-virus tool. The criteria are unclear, and may not apply to you. The tools keep changing, and the testing sites may or may not be reputable. The best solution is to choose a good one and make sure you follow safe computing practices.

It’s not what you expect.
your videos have been showing up on my homepage recently and i have been clicking on them and watching. you deserve much more than 2000 views, so hopefully its not just me these videos have been showing up to

I recommend that Windows users stick with Windows Defender, and do not use any 3rd party packages. Why?
1) Read the terms of service (end user license agreement, etc), and read it thoroughly. Read any and all links contained therein. Read it all.
It is a boring read, and the 3rd party packages are counting on you not reading it.
You are agreeing to allow the 3rd party vendor to have complete, unfettered access to your computer.
You are agreeing to allow them to do anything they want to do, with the files on your computer. They are unlikely to harm any of your files. But they will sell your information to who knows who.
They will refer to the companies, with whom they will "share" your data, as part of their family of vendors (or some such wording). It all adds up to you giving complete strangers a transparent window into everything on your computer, and everything you do with your computer.
They claim it is for them to better protect you, and they claim that they only collect metrics, blah blah blah. Yet, you are agreeing to allow them to do anything they want with your computer.
Yes, for their software to be effective, they must be able to scan your files and your activities, to identify threats and protect you. So you have to allow it, if you use their software.
2) Windows Defender will probably do a better job than any 3rd party package.
A couple of decades ago, Microsoft did not really care about security. They left that up to the end user to protect themselves with 3rd party software.
Microsoft took a good deal of heat, and today they take security seriously, and they have the resources to handle it. They also have the most information on how Windows works and its vulnerabilities. Defender is bundled with Windows, and costs nothing for you to use.
3) If you decide to use a 3rd party vendor, and then one day decide to switch to some other 3rd party vendor (or switch to Microsoft Defender), you will find it next to impossible to divorce yourself from your current 3rd party vendor. You will never delete all traces, and you might end up with a conflict between competing packages.

If it's not in response to email you've sent it's probably just spam. Mark it as spam and move on.

i got my laptop back the replaced the battery battery cable and the motherboard . the dell has 32 gig ram 17-inch screen i core 9 4.3 gig Herz full-size keyboard but what is strange it has a 10 100 ethernet port i wonder why?
I use Aviras free version for my phone, and im happy with it, it seems to be not like the other free Anti-Virus programm because I hear alot that Avira is one of the rare Free Anti-Virus that doesnt seem to sell User data. Do you know if Avira is "good"?
More malware now show up in legitimate websites, in websites loaded by legitimate websites, and so on. Some also now target hardware directly. That means proper user behavior and reasonable protection no longer cut it. And the more features you want and need from devices, then the more avenues there are for malware to strike.
Backups help with recovery but not with data theft. And some malware may be designed to stay in systems stealing data.
That's why the security system in Win 11 involves features that are now turned on by default, and which have higher hardware requirements. That's also why a lot of effort is spent patching systems and applications.
Given that, the best antivirus is the one that provides the most features for protection and prevention. Given that, be prepared for a performance hit and additional hardware costs to deal with that, as well as higher costs for security protection. Be also prepared for updating the antivirus, the system, and various applications often to prevent vulnerabilities. You also have to backup often to recover quickly.
That means relying on teams of programmers and technicians who are around to maintain and update software. Otherwise, you will have to do that yourself or hire people to do so.
The user's common sense is the best.
I wish that were reliable, but it's not. Common sense is not common. :-(
