Hi, like the video, very informative! I have a Thermapen Mk but i'm going to soon have a Spark as well. It will pair very nicely with my FireBoard 2 Drive. The Spark has many nice features. I just wonder if the rechargeable battery is replaceable if it should go bad down the line (post warranty). Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts and opinions.

Hey Mike, your welcome and thanks for stopping by. Yeah I had the same thought, and that also applies to the Fireboard itself. I can tell you though that I’ve had interaction with the staff at Fireboard and they have always been very receptive to questions and comments. I did read in one of the spec documents that the life of the 2600mA Li-lon battery should be somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-18 years. Even if it lasted half that long, I’m sure, for me anyway, there will be another bright shiny toy coming along I can’t live without, so I’ll get my moneys worth out of it. lol.

@@richardball6320 That's very comforting to know. 12-18 years is a pretty long time so it's safe to say there is nothing to worry about other than some sort of straight out battery failure. Thanks.
